Barnett is probably more in the 290 range. Young and Ledbetter more like 275-280

This needs to be gif'ified... but could not stop laughing when I saw this...
Also, did you guys actually see Beal's commitment video (I've been away from the interwebs for the long weekend, so apologies if Germans... It was a bit of mixed feelings logging back in with Michel's injury but some great commitment news). That shite was amazing...
Time to run through some effing walls...

Thanks for the encouraging info, Sanford and Crow!
Barnett at 290 could play at DT if needed, but I'm hoping we have ng 325, dt 320, de 280, all bigger, stronger and faster as starters, and maybe 4 more interior DLs in the 315 to 325 range to back them up.
and 3 DEs at 275 to 290 would be absolutely awesome.
Plus, here's hoping Marshall is big, mean, fast and ready to be in the DE rotation, too.
We looked small and weak in the DL by comparison with Alabama, Tennessee, and a couple of other teams last year.
Winning the LOS is key to winning football.
Loving hopes of tougher LOS on both sides of the ball.

Uncle Keef changed his CB on Holloman from AU to UGA...

easily one of the better videos. None of the cheesy hat displays or anything. Showed he believes in hard work and the grind and dropped his team at the end.
The next, Khalil Mack shows he has big goals. I like it

Adonis Thomas transferring from Bama. Heading to JUCO but will transfer to another D1 in January.
Wonder if we bring him on?

Would have been recruited by Kirby so that's probably a possibility but if its for playing time he might look elsewhere.

6'2 230lb LB from Lawrenceville? Hell, find a place for him

is that how he announced his commitment?

The guys on 247 say that they doubt we pursue him. According to them he is athletic, but there are concerns about his aggressiveness and physicality at the point of attack.

FWIW Toneil Carter will announce via video on Friday and Andrew Thomas on Sunday. Should be a solid weekend

Thomas, Carter, and maybe Holloman. That shite would just be epic.

On a whim I looked at the (waaaaay early) '18 class rankings. It is VERY feasible to end up with 3 of the top 11 recruits nationally in Lawrence, Salyer, and Mascoll. That'd be insane.

5 of those 11 is technically on the table I'd say...
Tyreke Johnson very high on us right now. Zamir White was *really* high on us with the previous staff... going to be interesting to see how things end up going forward but we're still in the mix there for sure.

from my old stomping grounds. Pretty surprising that SGH hasn't had more highly ranked players come through the last 20 years. From memory we had:
-Greene, but he was like a 3*. He certainly wasn't the UGA version yet in Hs
-Michael Grant (arkansas), briefly..I think he transferred to stephenson our soph year
-kraus (vandy) 3* lb a few years ago
-dreek smith (auburn) unheraleded (maybe a 2*) ATH that played WR for au
-reggie carter
Being located where it is you'd think south would be putting out more big time guys.

Honestly, because those kids probably found a way into Parkview or Brookwood for years and now it's probably either Stephenson, Mill Creek, or Peachtree Ridge.

What makes you so confident about Tray Bishop? Not questioning you, but it just sounds like most everything (minus his relationship with other recruits committed here) points towards Auburn
