People who melt over where a kid decides to play football need their head examined.

We have massive depth. If Elijah Holyfield is in the game the. We have major injuries.

No excuse for an in-state 5* like Solomon to be headed to Michigan over UGA.
So we should kidnap him?

Per 247 composite, avg player ranking, UGA is ahead of bama?

What if Kirbs had a sit down and sold Big Trent on staying for his senior year once he found Soloman was out of it and Trent said yes, bam pull Murch's offer?

Maybe he should. Almost all of our hay was in the barn and we had 3 weeks to focus primarily on Nico and AS. Hell we lead for Nico for almost six months.
So what you're saying is he closed a top 3 class so early and so well that none of them flipped? He's young, he'll figure it out eventually.

Currently melting over Leonard Warner and Toeneil Carter. Here is a snippet of my favorite so far:

Props to you for realizing what the delusional crowd wasn't. Pulling scholarships is a dirtbag move and always will be. Compound that to the fact that two of the three are four stars is further confirmation of that fact. We turn away a guy who could be a Rhodes scholar and has the intellect to be an ambassador for the program (Warner) and a kid who grew up watching Herschal Walker on TV in a city we need to establish a foothold in especially if Sumlin is fired next year (Carter). Bad finish! And pulling scholarships will always be a dirtbag move! PERIOD!

Damn! How old is this high school kid who grew up watching Herschel Walker on TV? I grew up watching HW on TV and I'm 51 years old!

No, I'm saying that this was a great class but the close was familiar.

You're finding out today who to not listen to.
Anyone who has negative things to say about this recruiting class is a dipshit.

Those folks over there are super dumb.
This class is great and fills all of our needs with quality guys, not late blooming filler, quality depth guys.
This gets me pumped for the season as we should see quite a few of these guys start and get playing time.

Ohio State's ahead of us on avg., but that's it.
Glad some of us can still find a way to melt during the best class in the history of our program though.

First of all, eff the barn. Those guys suck in so many ways.
Also, interesting stats: aside from Trey Smith, the next highest rated non-UGA SEC East recruit on ESPN is Jamyest at #39. We have 4 in the top 15.
And on Rivals, we will hold #3 ranking compared to next best SEC East at #13.
Oh, and that o-line.....

Here is another quality one. Apparently Leonard Warner was the best player in the history of football. Shame on us for dropping the ball:
quote:
couldn't agree more. We had Warner & Carter in the bag and we didn't treat them properly. And our backup plans were not set in stone and we whiffed, period. To make matters worse, we could've established a pipeline to Brookwood to have a leg up on 2018 four star WR Matthew Hill and other prospects at Warner's school. ToeNeil Carter is from Houston, a place we're trying to really get into. And if Kevin Sumlin is fired next year, then we'll need a presence to reap the benefits- especially with a young Texas staff. Today has been a bust.
