We can process enough and sign up to 30 is what Trent Smallwood is saying. Saying it would be difficult, but we're capable of it for sure.

Isn't it great to be almost done with 2017 recruiting. I mean surely, Kirby is only spending quality time on a handful of guys.

I hope he is ready to jump on Trevor Lawrence. I'd be in his ear until he enrolled early or NSD 2018. Whichever comes first.

I wonder who the 2018 Lecounte will be.

Looks like there are some recruiting stories floating around. Hopefully something will happen as this is the slowest it's been for awhile.

I can only assume that we are planning to see more attrition and will have room for him.

FWIW, Rusty was on the Bulldog Roundtable show this morning & said we have 3 open slots plus one more for Solomon if needed. We are currently at 23, so it looks like 27 is the max number per Mansell...

I'm pretty sure that is assuming no more attrition/processing.

27 seems to be the number that has been repeated elsewhere as well (I know it was in Sentell's scholarship article a week ago or so).

Not really that messed up. The numeric "rating" is probably a better way of comparing from year to year than the star system but even still it's going to be relative to the guys they're competing against. Think of it like grading on a curve. Someone's getting an A... even if it might have been a B-/C+ in years past. On the other hand you might have guys that are probably talented enough to be 5* but get pushed down to depth (see this year).

This is what I see, too. I look at the ranking number more than I do the stars. There is a difference between a high 4 star and low 4 star. Anything 94+ makes me think of an impact player as an undergraduate.
