Either one committing would be nice. Would prefer Leguines. (Sp)

If Laguines doesn't commit before DN, then he will do it then. I also think we land Holyfield that night. Maybe one or two more.

Would be nice to run off with 6-8 commits that night.

It would be nice to land Laguines, Davis and Brown. The melt from South Carolina and Auburn would be.....nice.

That's asking for an absurd amount. I'd be happy with just a couple.

I'll take 3-4 high quality ones.

More excuses from the Barners on why Holyfield is leaning towards us now on 247...

One thing is for sure regarding Bobo and Friend leaving - our offensive recruiting hasn't skipped a beat. We kept our main target QB and are continuing to add the QB of our choice in future classes. Our offensive line recruiting is outstanding and it seems we are going to get the RB that we want. Meanwhile, not one recruit is mentioning any concern regarding Bobo and Friend leaving.

Friend was never going to be a recruiting issue, but Bobo leaving was a deal breaker for Van Jefferson and seriously hurt UGA's cause to hold on to Slayton.
Bobo was one of the best 15 or so recruiters in America and the unquestioned best in South Georgia. No need to downplay him.

Wasn't down playing Bobo at all. More up playing Schott and Sale, and CMR and company for hiring them.
The quotes by our latest QB recruit's dad are pretty telling. Our QB recruiting hasn't missed a beat, which is amazing given Bobo's track record with QBs here.

FYI, Archer vs Peachtree Ridge will be featured on ESPN as the kickoff game for the HS season. Might be an unprecedented amount of talent on the field that night and UGA has the best shot at landing the majority of them.

WTF???
After all the hoops we jumped thru for the kid, he bails... Oh well...

What? He worked hard for years to get here and then quits?
Posted on 6/18/15 at 11:47 am to Porter Osborne Jr
It's actually pretty fricked up imo. He basically took a spot away from somebody in two separate classes. I hope he's quitting for the right reasons.
