Edoga committing to UT would only escalate UGA's recruitment of him, IMO

I don’t doubt that. But I don’t trust Will Friend to close the deal, JMHO.

It just strikes me as odd that Edoga has this weird fascination with UT. They have been irrelevant for years.

They're fresh and able to spout off a lot of promises without anything for other coaches to point to other than "they haven't proven anything yet." Plus, Edoga strikes me as being a sort of oddball kid.

Have you heard Butch telling recruits they’ll be the Oregon of the South once they sign their Nike deal? Good stuff

Agreed, he comes off as quirky, but he’s ULTRA talented. For a guy with his size, he has excellent lateral quickness. Scouts say he has long arms, strong hands and a real nasty streak. The quintessential tackle.

Oh, I don't doubt that he's an elite talent. Plenty of football players, though, are just weird guys. You can't just approach him with the "UGA would be a much more beneficial experience for you than UTk" and expect logic to work itself out. You've got to figure out what the kid likes and appeal to it.

File this in the "where did that come from” folder, UGA received a crystal ball prediction for consensus 5-Star prospect Josh Sweat

That’s good news. Where is he at in his recruitment? Has he ever visited? I know he blew up the Charlotte combine a month ago and received an Opening Invite. They’ve used the term “freak” to describe his play, sign his arse up

Georgia is his dream school, but VT and FSU seem to have been recruiting him harder. Hopefully that changes

Owens will be a big time sleeper recruit like Florida St's Kelvin Benjamin(if we use him that way). If we can pull another top WR, That would make this the best WR haul ever. QB's in waiting is doing the Birdman Hand Rub
