A prominent black booster at Florida State is blocking Bell for being a Nole per a Valdosta guy on another board is the rumor. Bell was accused of and cleared of killing a black Student at Lowndes.

Ok, I got that. If he was cleared, then what is the problem? Unless is was of the sharpton sort of reason...

There is a huge conspiracy theory surrounding the death of the kid and it has harsh racial lines.

The problem is that the parents of KJ, the victim, whom he didn't even live with, won't let it drop. Every time an investigation is done and doesn't prove Brian is guilty they start another lawsuit. I don't know about the booster but I do know that FSU called Brian last Wednesday to let him know that he didn't have a scholarship offer anymore and Coach McPherson (Lowndes) and parents met with coach Fisher and the AD of FSU the next day. On Friday of last week they received a phone call from coach Fisher telling them that the AD would still not allow him to attend.

I do know that Brian Bell has been contacted by ACC schools that had previously offered him and at least one SEC school. You've got to think that UGA would have a good chance with him due to a relationship with Pruitt when he was at FSU. Just saying.

Most recent thing I heard was that Bell was named in another suit from the parents (I think). It named like 38 students who think had a hand in the death of their son. So I don't think he is cleared of everything yet, but I might have outdated info.
