Hopefully he won't. I think he comes to UGA. Even if he does go to UCLA we will still field a team. We will still contend. AND, we will still be in the hunt for a NC.
Our problem, IMO, is we get so hyped up thinking we are going to hve the #2 or #3 class in the country, that we think a #5 is horrible...or a #6.

Damn this is not what I was hoping to wake up to in the recruiting thread on the day of my birthmas.
1. If you're sitting here degrading a 17-18 year old kid for where they want to go to school then you deserve to be smacked in the mouth.
2. Ball is a good coach, but shitty recruiter. We get it.
3. Some of you aren't real uga fans. GTFO.
4. Please stop saying that someone else cheated every time that we get beat for a recruit, you just sound ignant.
5. If we lose Roquan I just don't know if I can go on.

I won't say we are losing guys to Auburn due to cheating. I will tell you I was in Athens yesterday and my friend on the staff said Aubrun's scholarships are a more comprehensive package including family care. We will be fine. Just need to ID who has their hands out and move on.

No doubt that that sort of thing happens, just not every time we lose a recruit. Besides everyone, eveyone. Now lets close this damn day out by not losing anyone else.

Never fear. There will be plenty of 2-3 star guys to fill out the class. Those are the important players because they play in Super Bowls. If we miss on smith, Godwin , Allen , Baker will disneys finally STFU?

3 star athletes are good players. A lot of times they're guys that have 4 star talent, but therr may be some reason, like the kid just got into football or maybe he plays at a smaller school, that the services don't rank them higher. We don't sign many 2 stars, but I agree that I don't really want them on the team bc the Thomas Davis and Tim Jennings of the world are the exception not the rule.

Well I think we all saw the writing on the wall with Slayton....but I just don't understand staying "commited" to UGA up until it's too late for us to pursue other targets...that I truly don't understand

Yeah I don't like it either, but logic and reason weren't my strong points when I was that age so I always try to keep that in mind. I just hope we land Quan and hold o to Godwin. I know twitter doesn't mean shite, but apparently Godwin started following Gus late last night.

This I can agree with. I understand the kid in 17-18 years old and you have professional salesmen pushing and pulling you every which way (I was recruited at a lower level and it was still stressful), but if you're having doubts then do the school you originally committed to a favor and decommit while you get your mind right. I can respect the way Pat Allen dealt with it much more than the way Slayton dealt with it. My only problem with Slayton flipping is that he waited until zero hour and fricked our staff over.
