Scrooster's trying to say LSU paid big for him.

Is this one of those guys kind of like Choates where he was simply waiting on the offer to accept on the spot?

No this is the case of a guy who got his dream offer after our only RB plan bailed. We obviously have been looking at him with Carson wavering for so long.

Carson was never going to see the field anyway, you guys are flipping out over nothing. Now we have this big kid, who is ready from day 1 to play in the league from a physical standpoint, we held serve today. Holyfield and this kid may prove to be a nice thunder and lightning for us.

Only a minute in to his mixtape and the kid has taken it to the house every carry. That's a good sign, I don't see a 2 star here.

I'm pleased we were ready so quick with a Plan 'B' after Carson. Shows evidence of a plan.

I'll take it. Screw the haters. Go Dawgs.

His film is quite good. No way that kid is a 2 star.

I highly doubt that this kid is ever going to see the field, but it is good that they had a plan b in place.

If you sign large, fast athletes you are going to have success. 6'3" 220 and moves like that, I'm surprised this guy flew under the radar.

I'm glad we've got him. Psyched we've got him, actually.

But that film is a bit incomplete. I mean, no one even touched him on that film (except maybe that last clip). I'd like to see him during (and after) major contact. I'm guessing a year in our weight room and he'll be ready. Not so sure about next season.

But hey, I'm oft wrong. Hopefully he'll be ready from day one.

Nick Buchanan just announced he is decommitting from Cal. I'd guess we're in pretty good shape here.
Hope so, UF on him too.

Wonder how they feel about Ivey, more than likely both are takes anyway.

Terry Godwin is re-tweeting alot of UGA fan stuff. Have to think he is all Dawg. I just think he is a classy guy and stuck up for Malzahn because he doesn't like the disrespect. Judging by his tweets, his Dawg commitment seems solid to me.

Man among boys at 2A. Hard to say how he is going to pan out. I hope like the devil, they sign another RB.

If you are refering to Harris Co. they are 5A. Didn't play in that great of a region but still beat a couple decent teams. We were only going to take 1 RB this class either way and 2 in 16. Even though I would have liked to keep Carson I believe Okie sold him on being a 1 and done guy. Crowder will give us 4-5 years.

You guys on here are crazy. We have dropped from the number two class (with a small chance of passing Bama for number one) in the country to hoping to hang in the top five. We are losing players left and right. Then you guys attack people who are upset by these developments. You guys somehow feel ok about everyone who leaves like they shouldn't have been here to begin with, but at some point you were thrilled to have those guys. Give it a break folks. We are getting screwed, and once again we will end up with a class out of the top few classes in the nation.

It's also funny that people attack Richt for his product on the field. You know what, give Richt the players Saban has had over the past few years and see what Richt can do with them.
The problem isn't Richt's abilities as a coach, it's the ability to recruit. Same is true for our basketball program. We need to learn how to recruit, and if that involves the AD spending more money for facilities and such, then lets spend that money!

The only guys that we have 'lost' are Jefferson, Wilson, and Carson. We have a very good chance of getting Allen and McGraw back and adding Smith. If we keep Godwin and Slayton then we still have a very good chance of this being Richt's best class.

You do realize we had a big class very early (NO chance of passing Bama) and that Tennessee, FSU, USC and others didn't have their commitments early......

We had a small chance of hanging on to a top 3 class. That being said, with a few turns tomorrow and keeping guys committed, this will likely be a top 6 class and one of Richts best. We also got the #1 player in the nation and FROM OUR STATE.

We are doing just fine. Outside Bama, you can't expect to be top 3 every single year. You are talking about decisions made by 17/18 year old kids. Coaching has been a problem, keeping 80+ schollys on the team has been a problem, off field stuff has been a problem.....recruiting for football has not been a problem

Here’s my input on a 2* RB. We flipped Douglas late and he was rated by most services as a low 3*. People laughed and questioned the move. He has filled in nicely when called on. Lastly, if CBM is as good of a coach as I think he is, Crowder will be prepared if he is asked to take the field. I have no doubts.

So adding Tae Crowder “hurt” our average ranking. Who cares at this point? We need football players. Especially RB’s at 6”3 220 lbs.
