Smith has made it no secret he's taking a serious look at leaving the state. Hope he stays but his interest in UCLA is pretty well known.

I agree it would be a little embarrassing to lose Smith to the Bruins.

Sucks about Carson. He looks like he'll be a good one.

Jake Rowe on 247 is saying Roquan's family didn't travel out to UCLA with him this weekend and he did not commit anywhere. I would think that they'll probably sit down to talk about it and realize the 3000+ mile difference is a little too much. I hope.

Makes sense to me. I doubt that he would see much more than mop up duty with a healthy Chubb, Michel, Marshall, and Turman. Don't forget about Douglas as well.

Maybe we have some TOP SECRET committed recruit and Carson was told to take the opportunity at Okie State.
I know this isn't true, but the Disney in me wants to believe.

Sounds to me like Carson was committed to UGA but not the other way around. Think we may have encouraged him to sign elsewhere. Look for Kirby Choates to get that offer now.

Smith always worried me. If he'd been "all dawg" like so many people proclaimed him to be, why didn't he just commit? He's been too silent to be a sure thing.

I agree that it would hurt, but I disagree about the embarrassing part. UCLA is a great school and offers some things we don't. Mora has also been recruiting very well all over the place. He's pulling multiple kids from Texas and it looks like he's going to pull Chris Clark (#2TE) from Connecticut.
