Heard today he possibley got a D in a math class and would have trouble transferring to a SEC school.

I'm just resigned to the fact that Seymour will probably never suit up for the red & black. He has had qualification problem after problem so i'm not sure he would stay eligible even if we did get him in.

I just saw a headline on 247 saying Eason is keeping his options open, keeping in touch with Notre Dame. Any worries here?

I'm not a subscriber but it looks to me like he said he's 100% to UGA

This. But, if he decides to go somewhere else there is nothing we can do about. No use in crying over spilled milk.

Just said he's 100% to UGA & committed to the school, not the coach. He expects CMR to make a good hire. !00% to UGA but keeping in touch with ND coaches. His dad was a WR at ND in '85-'86.

Eason says he will visit Georgia this summer for Dawg Night and then return during his senior season for an official visit.

In addition to the Bulldogs and the Irish, there are two other schools Eason is keeping an eye on — Michigan and Florida.

frick Eason.....He may be the cream of the crop of the QB Class..but how far are we willing to go to let one recruit determine who we pick up for our O.C...Little bastards should feel privledged to wear the Red and Black....fukkem all

I wasn't aware that Richt had turned over hiring duties to Eason. Has the Eason camp said anything about who they prefer?

Did I miss something else that Eason said? That's a very odd response to Eason's statement, which was perfectly reasonable.

Some recruits are primma donnas but I don't get that vibe from Eason. I think he sticks with us but Michigan and notre dame will push hard for him. I'm more worried about Michigan and Harbaugh and what he may bring to the table next season compared to the Irish though

I agree. I expect that Eason will evaluate our new hires throughout the spring and into next season. It's the rational thing for any recruit to do when a position coach changes. But, CMR taught Mike Bobo most of what he knows about developing quarterbacks and our scheme is not going to change, so Eason will probably stick with Georgia.

Roquan Smith also told me he's no longer visiting LSU or Ole Miss, which was originally the plan.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where we're running all potential candidates by him before interviewing.

was just stating that even though he's 100% that he's still keeping up with other schools until he see's who we hire..to make sure that they agree with the hire..
