I think we're trying to fill all our available spots. This kid has opened up his recruitment since Ohio state's OC left. I'll take a 6'5" 4 star WR.

Any and all..I do think he is a contingency plan for a possible non-qualifier/flip. We don't want to get caught with our pants down. He has great hands and he locates the ball very well so it would be a great pickup.

Yeah, but....247 has him as 3* and running a 4.7 40. Seems slow, but, of course his main weapon would be his height, I guess.

He reminds me of this guy Mike Evans
He bulked up to 231 and got down to a 4.53 for the combine. Cager is already 200 so if he can improve his speed and route running he could be pretty damn good.

That's what I was thinking. Any chance the ime on his profile page is wrong? I've been going through some of the other tall receivers and they clock out around 4.4-4.5...so 4.7? How does he even get rated a 3*, I wonder? Must have phenominal hands!

Understand what you are saying, but 2 tnths of a second is a LOT of improving.

4.32 shuttle isn't too bad so it seems he's more quick than fast. Probably a good redzone and possession guy versus a burner deep threat..
