Wilkerson, Douglas, Turman, and O'Neal should all be on the watchlist to transfer.

All our fans want UGA to be like Bama, but then it starts happening and they freak out.

Eta- I'd add Rankin to durden's list

Article on Sweat with quotes from his mom...
quote:

Carlette Sweat knows where she wants her son to go to college, but she's not letting on.

"It's his choice; it's his decision," she said. "Wherever he goes, we're going to support him."
quote:

"It really hasn't hit me yet," said Carlette. "But I felt really good at one school in particular... but I won't say."

I'd watch Tramel Terry, too.

Well, I don't think she made it to FSU, so...

I'm guessing it's VT tomorrow, which really pisses me off because I really despise VT. I think UGA will really push for Walker after that.

Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised.

I'd say it's VT as well which one on hand I understand from a proximity standpoint but why would you want to be on a good D with an abysmal Offense which will land you 7-8 wins at max. Let's hope Huggins and some other guys pull the trigger for the good guys

I also have a Disney wish that Abram would try to pull Leo Lewis away from Ole Miss. Kid looks like he could pass for Ray Lewis already haha..

Is he not a Pruitt scheme fit? Why would he transfer? He just started learning safety this year.

There's not a lot of talk, but there are some people who talked about a little bit of an attitude adjustment that needed to be in order (Terry alluded to it, as well, in a story after the Troy game). I hope he does stick around because I really think he'll be our starter at FS next year if he does, but Pruitt's coaching style and demeanor are like night and day when compared to Grantham's. We'll see, but Pruitt isn't going to coddle kids because they were highly rated.

I think Tramel could be really good. He was way behind the curve in learning the position and was coming off a pretty devastating injury. I would be really surprised if he transfers.

Rusty thinks things are trending the right way for Donte Jackson right now. Would be absolutely huge for this class to pull an elite corner.

That's awesome news if it works out that way. Kid is special..we have quite a few that, after looking through their film, could be categorized that way. The future is bright which is what makes recruiting so interesting..

Going to try and catch up on all said. I'm still in vegas for work

Sweat:
his parents visited with him during the summer. After reading that article I get the idea they agre on the school "it's his choice". FSU mod has always said mom likes FSU. Maybe that's the difference. I think it's VT. Sweat would be the cherry on top for this class but it's going to be a fantastic class regardless.

Transfers:
I don't see Rankin going anywhere. Maybe O Neal. Others are toss ups IMO.

Jackson:
more important than Sweat IMO due to current CB state.

Yes... Dominick Sanders and he's a VERY special football player. Others could include JJ and Floyd. I think next years D could be good but not great.
