You fellas turn south quick when someone doesn't blow sunshine up your backsides. We're all on the same team here, but we still finished second to Mizzou when Florida, UT, and USCe all had down years. I don't see it getting any better regardless of who we recruit.

That fine if you feel that way, but why even read this thread if you do? Seems contradictory

It's more about you not providing a single thing in this thread about recruiting. All you've done is take one giant shite on it and stood there proudly like a two year old pooping in the toilet for the first time.

Crazy story. The better players you recruit, the better chance you have at winning a SEC or National Championship. Look at Alabama. Yes, their coaching is great, but they have had a top 3 recruiting class the past 4 years. We are on pace for our best recruiting class ever. I'm not saying recruiting is the only thing that matters because player development is certainly important, but recruiting absolutely matters.

Add in the fact that no team has won a natty in the past 10 or so years without having a top 5 class in the 4 years before they won.

This. Having more talent than the team you are playing against overcomes a lot of dumbass coaching decisions. Saban is a great coach. His work ethic is unsurpassed. His players are well coached and usually well prepared. But rarely even Alabama simply doesn't look ready to play and Saban does make some recruiting and in-game mistakes.

He doesn't come here to read or contribute to recruiting/UGA conversation in any form other than trolling and trying to start shite. But apparantly thats OK with the powers that be.

Not sure i agree with that...and no, I will not defend my opinion on this. Let's just say, I have seen saban make numeous poor decisions as bad as Richt. His players can cover them up, though.

#1 class last 4 years, I believe. Which goes back to my point above.

Jacob Eason has to be a pretty happy guy seeing all these receivers come here.

Saban struggles to defend the spread, and has made a couple poor decisions, but when your teams have so much talent your mistakes aren't nearly as noticeable. Same thing happened for Texas between 02-05. They had some questionable coaching decisions, but overwhelming talent can cover that up.

I think there was one year USC finished first, but that might have been 5 years ago. I said top 3 to be safe, but you're probably right.

You got me to thinking so I checked...
USC #1 in 2010
Alabama #1 2011,2012,2013,2014

If they win in the coming class (And I would be willing to bet they do) it will be 5 years in a row. Wow. You'd think they would win a NC every single year. MOST years nobody is even close to thier classes.

You are correct...great talent can cover a multitude of sins. I didn't mean that Saban and company were not good...in fact, they are very good. I just think somebody like Gary Pinkel, Steve Spurrier are as good if not better. Neither get the recruiting classes Saban and company get yet churn out very good teams year after year.

I love this Eason Kid already. He is out recruiting for us and really seems all in. Can't wait to see him in Red and Black.

You have to look for the right guys on those CB picks. Slayton was trending towards UT the past week or so with Crystal Balls and chose UGA. Sweat may very well end up at FSU, but I wouldn't worry about it until Rusty and/or Evan Watkins (Hokies 247 guy) start to change their picks.

Thinking about Eason throwing 60 yard bombs to our 100m champion Slayton causes my pants to get a little bit tighter. This is the scariest thing to me about getting rid of Richt. 8-5 seasons aren't acceptable, but how many of these guys do we lose if we get rid of him, and by that I mean we will probably lose Eason, and I am not ok with that.
