McFadden can't make it this weekend, says he will definitely reschedule. Bummer but not a huge deal as long as he visits at some point, imo. He's already been to a game

seems like there will be constant excuses as to why his family won't come to see Athens. They want FSU so i'd consider it over so as to not get my hopes up.

I wouldn't have considered it a huge deal, but he said that the ND game is what made him choose Florida St. If one game could change the kid's mind, I easily think the Auburn game could have put him over the edge for UGA because I think our game environment is going to be better than FSU's was for ND. Hope we can eventually get his family up here.

Absent a complete program meltdown at FSU, we are not getting McFadden. And not just because his family wants him there. He wants to go there.
I am not at all upset that McFadden will not be attending this weekend. He would be wasting the time our coaches could better spend with kids we actually have a good shot at.

Things are never as good or as bad as you think.
UGA absolutely has a shot at McFadden. Giving up on top level kids is a good way to guarantee you don't get enough of them

this is the reason I wanted him to visit this weekend as it should be much better than FSU/ND
That being said, I feel like I'm wrong now. I thought we still had a chance... but at this point I'd say he's got too much pulling him to FSU. I doubt he even schedules a trip.

Mixed feelings. He was our lowest of 4 WRs we have right now, but his size was awesome.

Yea, the only thing I really liked about him was his size. Nothing else on his tape showed that he'd be an impact player. Could definitely be wrong about this one but this one doesn't really sting as much as it should considering he was the first commit in this class.
