Just as I was rolling my eyes about Ole Miss wasting a scholly on Tunsil Jr we go and do the same damn thing. Ledbetter's brother is a project TE.

AllDawg- Ole Miss tossed out about $300K in scholarships to secure Tunsil. Remember Precious the 200lb equestrian? Plus ole miss secured the deal from out of nowhere the final 2 weeks of recruiting. UGA has always been a player for Ledbetter. I think Ledbetter is quite different from Tunsil IMHO fwiw.

Fair point. It costs us nothing this year. My counter is I think 2016 will be epic and its a scholarship.

I am guessing he is WAY below 'project'. We signed him to get his brother. Period. If we weren't hoping to get his brother, we NEVER would have signed him. If we DON'T get his brother, there was no point to this.
Now, I'm okay with it - as long as we get the brother.

If he is a JR this year ( haveing played 2 years of BBall) and doesn't have to sit, then his eligibility would be done by 2016. I assumed, if he was balling out, then the staff would try to find a way to get him another year of eligibility.

What are people's thoughts on Donte Jackson? I thought he was supposedly further down on LSU's board, but they seem to really want him. I guess he has moved up? However, they aren't talking about him too much.

Basically, you can think of it like he is taking counter's spot.
As for the 85, I doubt we'll be at it next year or the year after either, so no real worries there. Also, it is at a position we're fine at so if he sucks, it doesn't really cost us.
