He doesn't nor does anyone else. At this point, the only thing anyone knows about Trent is he has been very pro UGA up to this point but has a coach that may be anti UGA which may be what is hurting us. The kid is the number 1 player in the nation. He might not go to UGA but I think in the end him being a fan wins out. Trashbany is a big time pro UGA area and his family is also probably full of UGA fans I would imagine.

Mehki Brown tweeted that they were going to Flip Terry.

I fricking hate recruiting.

Yeah, since the advent of the Twitter age, it has become increasingly maddening to follow day in and day out. I try to just periodically check in on it every month in order for my sanity to stay somewhat intact.

Agreed. So many failed package deals over the years. So many.

Just watch Juwan Taylor's hudl film or one of them. His pursuit and angles are pretty damn good. I prefer he ran through tackles a little more instead of getting pushed back giving the RB another yard or so.

Edit: I also found it interesting that he's never visited UGA or talked to Coach Richt. Just seems odd to me.

Why would you disparage the town of the number one recruit in the country, especially since it is big-time pro-UGA, and we're trying to attract said recruit?

Because what he says on a message board will have no impact on a recruit whatsoever

Can anyone on here prove that we do. No.

I can't prove it and it may not be a common thing, but I know at least one former player that got extra benefits. I don't know from who, but it happened.

There's precedent for that. Geno Smith dropped UGA after reading message board comments about Richt

I hope he was using this as an excuse. If not, he's as dumb as a bag of rocks.

If message board fodder is your excuse, you've proved the old sales adage of "you make your decision emotionally, then justify logically". Errybody knew CMR wasn't going anywhere.

Granted, but unlike Geno, Trent isn't bitch made.

Also, FWIW, I'm not remotely worried about Trent. Still a UGA lock.

I'll admit, I'm getting worried. So much time spent on the plains is always concerning.

I just read in the paper (MC) says JP made a full offer to Montavious Atkinson yesterday. It reads that he dominated the football camp and was headed to Auburn it would be nice to see us save one from their clutches.

It has been discussed in length if in other places. A recruit may read stuff, a parent/family/friend may read stuff. While it may not be the determining factor it may at least weigh in a little with some recruits/family/friends.

The internet and social media has made it common place for people to get information (good or bad) within minutes. This has expanded the way recruits and family are handling potential recruiting.
