Dyshon Sims will be in Athens on Friday with his mom, said a good visit will probably lead to him to him pulling trigger soon.

We already did the whole 6'6 263 lb TE thing with Tripp Chandler. As I recall his hands weren't that great

Didnt he drop a touchdown pass (among others) in '07 in a game against Carolina that we lost 16-12 without scoring a touchdown...AND it cost us an SECCG and potential MNC berth? Yeah, my least favorite player of all time.

Yeah, that was Tripp
It's actually kind of funny that that particular drop has disappeared with time, but the Terrence Edwards drop will forever be infamous.

Because Tripp's drop is just one more drop on a long, long list of drops by Chandler.
Terrence was one of the most prolific and consistent WR's in UGA history and the drop was not only atypical but also a dagger to our NC hopes.

Georgia hasn't offered 4* WDE Andrew Williams.
Head scratcher for sure. Maybe they feel he might grow too big, ala Cornelius Washington?

Why?
His brother plays for Georgia Tech. It would be too dangerous to have an insider and expose the academic fraud.

Cole can actually catch. Still may end up as an OT one day.

If Dukes AND Shaw pop today I'll be especially pumped
If two go together, I'd bet on Dukes and Baker. Of course, "they" could be more than two...

He is a very much a tweener, but the bigger reason is probably something closer to us only having 4, maybe 5, DL spots this year and being in very good position on at least 5 guys that are higher on our board than AW.
If you want to say he is OLB, I think the same holds true with probably 3 spots at the absolute most there.

The same reason we won’t accept Top 50 talent DE Dante Sawyer’s commitment and the same reason we’ve all but stopped recruiting Top 30 DE Kentavious Street. They don’t fit the system

Getting beat down by UT in 07 didn't help our chances at an seccg or mnc either.
