Parrish is announcing this Thursday AM.

Chubb and Parrish are definitely pulling the trigger this week. Park, Baker, Lambert, and Wynn could commit any day. I think we could nab Gaillard in about a month on Dawg Night.

If, within the next month, all those guys commit then we'd add 2 top 100 players, 4 top 250, and one of the top JUCO prospects in the nation. It would be very impressive.

As you can imagine other schools are now reaching out to him, he wanted me to make sure this quote got out there.

What ever happened to that big freshman from North Ga? Did he get his offer?
Posted on 6/10/13 at 10:14 am to Porter Osborne Jr
I believe UGA told several 2016 kids that they will get their offers once the season starts, which is fair. Those kids still aren't sophomores in high school yet.

Not that that's ever stopped the Barn, who just offered a rising freshman QB.

Saith ESPN about Parrish:
quote:
"Parrish had Georgia Tech as his leader for several weeks, but the Yellow Jackets had the early advantage of being the only college to get the ESPN 150 prospect on campus. A trip to Athens early in May evened things up with the in-state programs, and a desire to play cornerback in college could play into the Bulldogs' favor."

A bit of a gut shot in the midst of good news about Dallas Warmack's scholly offer:
His brother, Chance, being an All-American OL at Bama, and a first rounder in this year's draft, going to the Tennessee Titans.
quote:
“I was excited. My brother actually wanted to go to Georgia before he went to Alabama, but they didn’t offer him. We’ve always been talking about Georgia since we were little, so it’s kind of a dream come true. They’re one of my top schools.”

For all the hoopla about Searles, he sucked a big ol' dick.

Top247 quarterback Jacob Park (Goose Creek, S.C./Stratford) enjoyed a great week of camping last week, earning an offer from Georgia and getting in the thick of things at Alabama, which offered months ago, but is sorting out its quarterback board. 247Sports Crystal Ball sat at 100 percent for Virginia Tech, where Hokies offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler has built a great relationship with Park and his family since Loeffler was at Auburn, but since the offer from UGA, the Bulldogs now sit at 64 percent to 36 for the Hokies. When we first interviewed Park at the Orlando Nike Football Training Camp in April of 2012, he talked up several Southeastern Conference programs, one was Georgia. Also, confidence is not high around Blacksburg at this point that he ends up there.
