Well, we knew we weren't going to get the kid but it was fun watching the chickens sweat a little.

Im sure he will be a good one for them. I appreciate the way he is gracious to the Dawgnation for how they treated him this weekend. I can wish the kid well with no hard feelings.

I must have missed it, I'm sure it was glorious.

Back to reality, I read where Andrew Williams coach thinks he will pick either Auburn or Clemson because he is a 4-3 DE. Maybe I'm reading too much into the comment but he seemed to emphasize that point. I find it interesting his HS coach has been so vocal publically.

Also, good to hear Galliard will be attending UGA. If he gets his weight in check, he is going to be a beast.

That was a few days ago. There was a new update today where the coach said UGA was a major factor after the OV

Good for him.

We sure as hell could have used him this year with Lynch and Rome hurt.

Meh, if UGA really wanted to, they could have grabbed Jordan Davis off the bench.

Other guys keep talking about how UGA is great at evaluating TE talent, and they ARE very good, but really the reason why everyone hears about UGA TEs all the time is the fact that Richt's and now Bobo's offense uses them so well. If Jay Rome stays healthy this year, I think he is going to be damn near impossible to cover.

I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

TEs with good hands are almost always a mismatch for a defense regardless of athletic prowess. Hell, a TE without great hands or speed, Arthur Lynch, did well at UGA because he was always able to get open in the middle of the middle of the field on passing routes. I laugh at everyone talking about the new-fangled offenses that have really atheltic TEs causing such disruption because UGA has been doing this for over a decade.

My point is that everyone thinks UGA always grabs incredible talent at TE which is why they shine, when really UGA simply takes good talent, and sometime great talent ( which like I said before I think Rome is) and uses them in the best way possible.

Awesome news. Carter is going to be a stud, we’re lucky to have him if this holds true.

TY Smith beindpg a take was all Kiffin not liking Bama's TEs on roster. He needed a guy who is gonna play the Hback/TE hybrid role (think Aaron Hernandez type role without all the murdering lol)

I read on the AJC article that he contacted UGA 1st and Richt said he likely needed to go elsewhere

So you guys looking like you finish with Zo Carter? And who else? I think Bama's is only holding 1 spot for Rashaan Evans right now and he will likely choose AU I don't get why you would wanna go play that Star position (basically an extra Safety and if you even look at the 3 guys Ellis coached that played that position that are now in the NFL, 2 out of 3 are Safetys) when you love playing LB and could do that at Bama, UGA OR UCLA?!?!?

I'm really not expecting Malachi Dupre. Seems like he's been heavily flirting but won't sway from LSU at least that seems to be what BOL staff thinks. Interesting development could be if Chi chooses FSU could possibly flip Travis Rudolph (he reached out to staff at Bama when FSU didn't stop recruiting Ermon and Malachi after he committed but Noles staff smoothed it over with him, I'm guessing told him Chi was a long shot for them).

Bama only has 2 spots left so those are the only 2 possibilities IMO
