Per the AJC, Grantham is trying to poach Gaillard for Louisville. Dude thinks he's a second-rate Franklin.

Gaillard's coach said he's still committed, but might need a plan B. maybe Pruitt doesn't like him

Louisville paid Grantham's buyout, maybe they'll pay for Gaillard's tattoo removal.

Unless Pruitt has a good plan B, we need him.

This.

I think he's ours to lose. Would feel better with a DL coach, and I think we'll have that by the in-home visit.

With CMR - plus the Georgia tattoos ( ), I still think he's ours to lose.

Screw Grantham.

I'm still looking for something official, but it's surfacing again that Shattle Fenteng has definitely cancelled his Ole Miss trip this weekend. Sounds like CJP did his job and then some while SF was on campus last weekend.

Great news if true.

Has any news came out about Webster?

In-home later this week. If we can get him on campus, it'll get real interesting

This could really ease the pain of losing Green.

I don't think it's a given however if we are offering and after CB's it makes me think the staff doesn't have full confidence in him coming here.

I think the staff is tired of getting hung out to dry on kids' losing their damned minds after courting them for years. I'd expect us to oversign by a few this year, but doing so with the knowledge that we always lose 2-4 in the spring anyway. It doesn't have to settle down to 85 till they get on campus, right?

Anybody know what's going on with Ross? Are we going to flip him? Was sounding pretty good yesterday.

I would say it looks pretty good. Fwiw, my source told me he thinks the favorite is still Mizzou.

I'm so ready for NSD to come and go so we will know the answers.

The lsu recruiting board is terrible.

Those guys are just the worst. That section of the site has gone straight to hell. They think they are the favorite for every recruit.

•UPDATED: It appears that efforts of ex-UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham to flip Lamont Gaillard to Louisville fell short. “Lamont is not interested in Louisville,” Gaillard’s High School coach told the AJC on Wednesday. “Miami is up in the air for this weekend (for an official visit), and nothing for next week.” UGA defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt had planned to make an in-home visit on Wednesday, but was advised to delay because of cold weather. Pruitt will make the trip next week, accompanied by Mark Richt.

Gaillard is all ours and will be redshirted this year to get his arse in shape and ready to play along side Trent in 2015

2 Big things coming on February 5th...we will also see a surprise before April 1st. We will lose a commit or two on NSD, but we will sign another 2 that will make dawgs happy. We will also get a recruit that signs later March, foregoing NSD because he is waivering. Things are going well on the trail with Pruitt. Asst coaches are NOT a concern for the recruits that are already committed to other teams.
