Try to get an internship (unpaid even) after college and work your way up from there. If you do that and they want you to go to law school for a promotion/a full-time position, then go if you know you have the job lined up when you're done.

Law school really doesn't open up that many doors (outside of practicing, of course) that wouldn't be available to you without it.

already have an intersnhip lined up for this summer and i am looking to get about a year long one and then go post grad. and while it may not open many more doors it sure is a lot more impressive than a simple masters. plus the old man is really pushing it

That makes more sense then. Lots of people go into law school because they don't know what else to do and think it will lead to all sorts of great opportunities only to come out with lots of debt and even less of a clue.

Speaking of that, is the old man willing to pay for it since he's pushing it?

US, with a focus on Southern History. I want to be a professor, because I like to just talk about history. Figured it works out well. Law and Government interest me (hence, Political Science), but I never wanted to do Law School. My girlfriend hated it.

oh yea, he'll be fronting the bill. otherwise i wouldn't be messing with this at all. he's be more than happy to pay for it i think just so he can say his son's going to law school around the cooler

he's also holding out hope that i try to become an agent but i have no desire to do that because 1) i'd rather represent the teams and not the players and 2) it's hard as shite to make it as an agent.

that sounds fascinating honestly. in a few years then professor crispy better help me know all their is about the south so i can defeat any argument when it comes to the war of northern aggression. i'd honestly do the same thing, well actually this is 2nd. i'd first probably try to go into WWII and the European Theater. I can't get enough of that crap

When you get a professorship somewhere, will you say that I sounded awesome online and they should hire me? I'll be teaching high school after I finish grad school this next year, and will be doing a low-residency to somewhere to get my MFA so I can be an assistant professor. Work my way up from there. Hook my shite up Professor-Admiral Crispy, sir

One day when I finally get there, absolutely. I'd LOVE to be somewhere like UGA or UVA, but I fully recognize that it's very likely I'll end up at like Georgia Southwestern or somewhere like that.

Well, here's some recruiting news since we haven't really been posting much lately:

-We've fallen out of it with Larenz Bryant, it seems. Clemson and USCe are his top 2 (respectively). Matt Rolin also named USCe his leader.
-Cardiello could literally commit at any time over the next month.
-Langley wants to announce at the end of summer or after his first game.
