I'd give UGA the edge over everyone else right now. Before signing day Parker stopped answering calls from the UCLA staff; that may have changed since then with Shabbazz trying to get Parker to join them but that's good for UGA. I'd be most worried about Duke since they only have commit right now and Coach K has been down several times to talk to Parker and they're the closest, but in the past several years they haven't exactly done a good job of developing Centers.
UGA is close to home, he'd be playing with several teammates, he has a long-standing relationship with Coach Fox and Coach Palmore, and he's cited Fox's history of developing post players...UGA might not have the winning tradition of other schools, but the fans still show up when we have a decent squad.
And yes, a lot national guys are predicting UCLA, but these are also people who don't even consider UGA any threat because they aren't a powerhouse.

All I have heard in the last couple of days is UCLA. A week ago I thought we had him, but now. I would say its not looking good.

Last week I felt REAL good about him coming here. As of today I'm not as sure, lots of talk about him going to UCLA.

The players on the 1983 team came to UGA to play with Nique. Players will come to UGA to play with TP. The only other two that can compare in my life time is DA or Jumaine.

Couldn't I just as easily say that TP is coming to UGA to play with KCP?
Anyways...our basketball writer just did an update and said that one of the coaching staffs in TP's final list of schools said he thinks he's going to UGA. And another is saying he'd "be shocked" if he went to UCLA.
So basically what I'm saying is........nobody frickin knows anything

Yes. But KCP was always coming to UGA. TP race has come down to the wire. So that is why I place it a little hire.

This is basically like Jordan Jenkins' commitment...we heard it was ALL Bama leading up to the announcement and that UGA had almost no chance, then in the last hours you started hearing whispers that UGA was his choice.
The UCLA staff said that a month ago Parker stopped taking their calls...I just don't see him going there. I'm still confident that he ends up in Athens.
