The kids I really feel sorry for are the ones recruits who faxed in, totally lost in the shuffle. We have a great class, but it still sucks to miss on these targets that the coaches have spent so much time chasing down.

Thats, honestly, what makes me so mad. we invested time...money...and multiple other resources to try and get these kids here and we go 0 for 5...thats a 0% return. Every year we usually get at least 1, which makes it worth it. This year, none.

Yeahhh i hope he gets a worthwhile degree from Bama because being one of 9 backs on a reigning National Championship team is fighting the odds of a lucrative NFL career.

I can't help but wonder if that's eventually going to work to their disadvantage. Wonder what's gonna happen with these kids when Saban leaves?

This is what happens when you win 3 of the last 4 MNC's, have 2 and soon to be 3 of your RB's picked in the first round, and keep bringing in top level OL to run behind. Kids see an NFL pipeline at Bama, just hoping to get their crack at it.

I've played sports all my life and 99.9% of the people I know would rather play and not win a National Championship than sit on the bench for a team that won the National Championship.

We stopped recruiting Crowder. He wanted to come here, coaches shut it down on him. Could have had him and K. Griffin in this class, coaches got cocky. Rookie move for a tenured staff.

Well apparently all the high profile players we lost this recruiting season were part of the .1% who want to win a NC.

So is that a wrap, or is anyone else we're going after still uncommitted? Toby Johnson?

Bottom line, we got 30+ kids, all of whom can play football. We are just fine. We stumbled badly at the close, but at least we were ready for it this year.

Win big, recruit big. Simple as that. Next year is critical imo. I honestly believe if we don't go 10-2 we will see a downward trend that will not be reversed this time around.

I don't get it.

I just don't understand why FOUR tailbacks would commit in the same year when at least three of them won't even play for a year or two.
