re: UGA's Backup QB's

Not saying Mettenberger would have done better than Murray, just saying it is stupid to not give your backup some meaningful snaps. IF we go through this year and let Murray take every snap in games that are blowouts and don't let Mason play some and actually run the whole offense then that is just stupid. Any game that gets out of control by halftime or the end of the third quarter we should have Mason in the game and running our entire offense not just handing off to the running backs to get the game over. Do you really want to go into the following year with Mason not having any real game experience at all.

Looking like missing on Kamara was a blessing in disguise. We save that Scholly for this year and get a better running back. win win.

Murray might not have been the problem, but he wasn't the answer that year either. And it's not about the QB it is about not trying to get another QB ready so you don't have another down year. And Mettenberger wasn't injured we could have played him some.

Not really about what Cox did, but once we knew we couldn't win the SEC, the priority should have been getting one of the young QB's some playing time and maybe 2010 wouldn't have been as bad.

Terry Hoage, we need some more like him.

Does anyone remember the last time we had a chance to get a QB ready for the next year and didn't. Let me remind you, Joe Cox started in 2009 and was very mediocre but rather than getting Mettenberger or Murray ready by letting them start the last half of the year, we let Joe Cox continue to start and even though we ended up with a decent record it brought on the terrible year we had in 2010 when we had to start a QB who had never took a meaningful snap. So we can either try to get Murray the Heisman, which is not happening or we can let him take the snaps until the game is under control and then get Mason ready for the next year, and by getting him ready I mean let him run the offense no matter how far we are ahead. Just putting him the game to hand off will not get him ready for the next year. jmho.

RIcht said that he would strictly play offense this year.

Not to mention they are probably going to add 2 more 5 star RB's next year.

Okay, I'll play your game. We lost Tyren Jones and Kamara to Bama. They have a good chance of winning a National Championship. The ones that went to Ole Miss do you really think there is a chance in hell they are going to win one. Okay the ones who went to Auburn, nope again. How about Clemson that would be one for three. So no not all of them we will have a shot at a National Championship.

I've played sports all my life and 99.9% of the people I know would rather play and not win a National Championship than sit on the bench for a team that won the National Championship.

Reuben Foster is Isaiah Crowell waiting to happen. The only difference is at Georgia he would fail a drug test at Alabama you never hear of anyone failing a drug test.

Lets take the three guys that all this shite storm is about. Tunsil, Adams and Kamara. Someone tell me how many games we are going to lose over the next 4 years because we don't sign these three guys. If we lose more than 1 game because we didn't sign these three I will be surprised. Tunsil is damn sure going to lose more games at Ole Miss in one year probably than he would have lost at Georgia in four. If Adams goes to Auburn we all know what kind of dumpster fire they are. The only one who will probably win more games is Kamara, but he will never see the field in any meaningful games. Just my opinion.

For all of you guys saying paying these guys isn't enough that we should be closing the deal because we are a better option, think about it this way. Are you working at a job you love for nothing or are you working for money somewhere that you like a little less.

If Tunsil is willing to sell us down the road for a scholarship for his girlfriend and something for his brother then that kid deserves to get screwed. You know what they say about karma.

Lot of rumors but nothing will ever happen. The NCAA is not going to go to any effort on this and after signing day you will never hear anything else about this.
re: Jim Harbaugh pissed about a no call on 4th and goal
Posted by Gurleyman2688 on 2/4/13 at 5:21 pm
It was holding and pass interference. But it was also pass interference on Roddy and we didn't get the call, if we had got that call the 49ers would not have even been in the SB, so like the others guys have said. karma is a bitch.

Yes he could be a top 5-10 pick. But there have also been players like this who ended up not even being drafted. Just depends on his work ethic. Also if he allow his GF or anyone else to lead him around like they are doing in this recruiting deal he will never see the NFL.
