It is...I tweeted that after the kentucky game? I don't know why I would have even tweeted that this season. Must've been drunk.

And 1-3 is a very real possibility. But I was just coming in here to join all the bashing of our program over these 18 yr old kids. Kind of toungue in cheek, if you will. I'm worried about our D in the first 2 games. If we somehow get past those games, we'll be alright.

"Tunsil's coach: "Once you start getting a lot of people w/their hands in the cookie jar, it's hard for kid to make a good decision."

Could Tunsil HS make it any more obvious that attending Ole Miss is a bad idea?

I'm willing to bet that comment was directed at the fat girlfriend and Tunsil mama.

Just as possible as 3-1 or 4-0.

Clemson- loses some studs on offense and has no defense
SC- loses latt and some key pieces on defense and it's at home
LSU- they lose damn near everyone, don't have a threat at QB, and it's at home

People look at the names on the schedule and think we're playing 2012 clemson, 2012 SC, and 2011 LSU..we're not. We're playing the 2013 version of those teams, and all 3 of those teams will likely not be as good as they were the past 2 years. Granted, we likely won't be either, but geez going into a season already counting on losing 3 of the first 4 just seems like a miserable way to go through life. The next 7 months for yall must be torture.

They'll definitely have to put in a LOT of work in the off season to win the first two. But it is absolutely manageable.

Also you guys got to factor alot of kids who go to high school in GA especially in Atlanta area aren't from there.

This is a bullshite excuse. Again, ill say it. Why doesn't this apply to other schools in talent rich states? You think California isn't a fricking land of transplants? Texas?

The problem is clear to everyone except certain fans. Nothing about our football program exudes excellence or a commitment to be great.

Nobody takes this team seriously regardless of if we enter the season #1 or otherwise. Putting a fair number of guys in the NFL is one of our few pitches and practically every fricking kid that is a star wherever they came from has a sense of entitlement anymore and simply assumes they'll play there one day anyway

Considering that Richt has always seemed to rely on superior athletic ability over offensive innovation and discipline, you'd think that'd be almost his sole motivation. To at least make a valid attempt to control the borders of this state. But that has become yet another black eye and embarrassment to add to the list

To those that imply it is a tradeoff between ethics and success, congratulations. Because we continually meet or underperform the increasingly low bar set for this staff . To those fans, I'm glad I don't own any stock in a company managed with those expectations. 4+mil a year sure doesn't get you much these days

I am actually starting to think we will need to watch closely tomorrow for NSD defections. We have quite literally lost every big recruiting battle down the stretch. Kids who have not yet signed on the line which is dotted may be looking at that and thinking there must be something wrong with UGA if ALL this undecided talent is going elsewhere to, lets face it, inferior programs.

^This

I saw somewhere today that somebody said that while Tunsil alone is an isolated incident, the bottom line is that all of these top shelf kids have one thing in common: They've identified that UGA isn't for them. This is why you call LT immediately when Trenton Brown wants to commit and you tell him to pull the trigger or happy trails. The result wouldn't have been any different other than the fact that Brown took his hoss arse elsewhere.

Wasnt including Bama, as I never believed we were in it for Foster or AK.

But Tunsil and Adams, Bellamy if he chooses Oregon. Auburn right now is an inferior program. Its a brand new coaching staff, and their MNC was/is/will ever be the product of buying Fairly and Newton.

Was curious how much instate top talent stayed in state...

Using 24/7 top 50 by state....

Bama & Aub take 4 of top 7 in Ga (5 of top 8 if you count Foster)

UGA...12 of 50 (2 of top 15...8 players in Ga uncommitted)...24%
GT...1 of 50...2%

Bama...8 of 50 (including top 5 in bama & 2 of top 7 in Ga)...16%
Auburn...6 of 50 (11 in bama are undeclared, 2 of top 5 in GA)...12%

Ole Miss...6 of 50 (12 in Miss uncommitted)...12%
Miss St...8 of 50...16%

UF...10 of 50 (14 in Fla uncommitted)...20%
FSU...7 of 50... 14%
Miami...2 of 50...4%

LSU...14 of 50 (8 of top 10, 8 in La. uncommitted)...28%

Texas...8 of 50 (2 in Tex uncommitted)...16%
aTm...15 of 50...30%

Didn't see this on here anywhere today, but allegedly Adeosun is down to three schools, is supposed to be deciding tomorrow, and won't tell who the short list is. Cryptic enough for ya?

As of now, I see 3-1, worst case. The offense should pick up where they left off, if not even better. The defense is the question and with as many points as the offense can score, we should be fine, barring another slew of suspensions. I've had my times of being down on the program, especially after SC and right now with some of the top prospects declaring elsewhere, but damn it's doomsday central these past few days on here.
