They will not allow me on the Arky board cuz I'm not an Arky fan... guess they do not realize what value I would bring

The one thing that is really pissing me off right now about Tunsil is that he scared off Trenton with his comments and I am beginning to think it was deliberate. He wanted to be the only LT commit and then he absolutely screwed UGA. I wouldn't send Kubs, but I would send somebody to help him pack his bags for Ole MIss if you know what I mean.

I imagine that if UGA were to ever meet Ole Miss in the next 5 years (we won't because they won't make it to ATL) then some UGA players would have a personal vendetta against LT for pulling this shite.

@Dismukes50 I'm not sorry for something I MAY have said to a certain recruit. None of you see these recruits day to day. #tiredoftheseprimadonnas

Kind of sounds like he was blackout drunk and can't say for sure if he said it or not.

“that my momma likes, likes the coaches and people there. That I like it. That it’s the best place for me to get my degree. And wherever I just feel at home so I can go play ball.”

JC Shurburtt said that Adeosun(OT we just offered) would have been a top 150 or maybe even top 100 guy if they had film on him earlier. They said he's very raw but if developed properly he's an all-conference player down the road.

I wanted to cuss him out and tell him to stop trying cheer us up.

Do we even have a chance with him after offering this late?

His father went to UGA, the entire family are UGA fans, and it was a big offer for him supposedly. I think we could easily land him on or after NSD.

Bellamy's story on the pic...

quote:

“We were leaving some apartments, and a couple of girls wanted to take a picture with us. So we were in their room for like 30 seconds. I didn’t even know the (bong) as in the picture. After I tweeted out (the picture), I started getting all kinds of text messages. Then I looked closely at the picture, and I was like ‘What?’ I deleted the picture, but it was already out there.”

Bellamy said the picture was discussed with Oregon’s coaches before he left campus on Sunday morning.

“I told them the story, and that none of the football players had anything to do with it. It as just some girls I was taking pictures with. I guess the girls were using it before we got there. It was just there on the table. It is what it is.”

What was the reaction from the Oregon coaches? “They understood. But … these girls on college campuses, they probably know more about the recruits than the coaches do. Once they saw me, they wanted to take pictures with me and the other recruits. But like I said, the coaches understood. It wasn’t in a football player’s room. It was just girls that wanted pictures with us.”

Did Bellamy learn any lessons from the experience? “Yes, definitely. At a young age, you don’t realize you’re living in a fishbowl. I’ve learned I’ve got to be more aware of my surroundings. Everything happens for a reason.”

No one probally wants to hear this but after reading 15 or so pages of melt down I thought I'd inject some optimism. Losing Tunsil sucks for alot of reasons. He was likely a day one starter. Its semi comforting knowing that Richt does things the right way but heart breaking to keep losing recruiting battles for our top targets. The bright side is that we achieved our goal for this class, which was to rebuild the depth chart so that we can create more competition and really go get it during practices. Plus their are some gems in this class in guys like Kimbrough, Oneal, Matthews, Kublanow, and Turman. That being said, our tackle spots arent as talentless as some think. Given the situation I would expect Theus to move to Lt and Beard and Ward to battle it out for RT. I watched Ward play in highschool and the kid can flat out play. The oline will be good next year regardless. Not to mention Seymour will be at uga after a year of prep school and I do believe he man handled RK in the playoffs.

You are correct on rk being handled, he didn't have the impact that I expected to see from him. I'm good with it...I just hope the weed in Athens can match the weed in Oregon!

NO, UGA did not achieve its goal for this class if it doesn't sign 5 more. That means UGA will once again be starting the Spring with under 85 scholarship players. There are also 3-4 guys with questions about qualifying among those committed right now. This is before injury or weed consumption. Nope, I would not be surprised to see UGA start the season with 70-75 scholarship players once again. Just ridiculous.
