An update from Kipp on the Da'Mario Jones offer. He checked within the program and this kid DOES NOT have an offer from UGA. The word got out after his father told Michigan beat writers that UGA came by and offered. UGA did make a trip there, however no formal offer was ever extended to Jones.

So that settles that, I suppose.

Looks like we're likely to flip Myles...a 4 star RB/ILB. It's be nice to add him to this class. He grew up in ATL and said UGa was his dream school.

I think there's a strong chance we close with:

Tunsil (5* OT)
Adams (5* DT)
Bellamy (4* OLB)
Johnson (4* DT)
Myles (4* RB/ILB)

That'd give us 34 signees and a damn strong close to a class that addresses our needs. We could still land Kamara, depending on our in-home, too.

Just watched tape on Myles.. dude is a football player. Full motor guy plays like his hair is on fire would be a great pickup if we can flip him

What are you hearing about Myles Jack? He is an impressive prospect, I would love to see him in Athens.

Adams (5* DT)
Bellamy (4* OLB)
Johnson (4* DT)
Myles (4* RB/ILB)

If we finish with these guys, top 5 class no doubt

One of the people close to him expects him to end up at UGA and said it was the offer he was waiting on.

Just watched one of his vids... looks really impressive on D. Are we anticipating using him strictly at RB?

Is the Myles offer an indication on how we feel about reuben?

That's why I asked about position... I would imagine it's more indicative of thoughts on AK and our need for another RB. His highlights on D are really stellar though. Not sure how the O-lines he was going up against there were but he was MAULING them... definitely high motor with no off-switch from the clips at least.

Rusty Mansell seems to think we'll bring him in at LB, as most think Foster stays with Aub. Myles Jack does offer us some flexibility though.

I'm cool with another athlete (regardless of where Foster goes). The way football is going, it serves our depth-needs well to have guys like JJ Green, Myles jack, JHC, Dawson, etc.

If we take 5 ILB's that will allow us to redshirt a few guys and get some class separation at the position. It could also mean that Wilson stays at OLB.

Green can serve as a 4th string RB, PR/KR, and 3rd string CB if need be.

Myles Jack has RB speed but hits like a LB...similar size/speed to Tree.

I agree with this. I envision him as a Jacked up Richard Samuel. Pun Intended. One that we hopefully grow at whatever position he can best contribute (but ideally never have to yank the carpet out from under completely).

I trust Mansell, but Jack is a beast at RB. Watch the video on the profile page:

go to :35 second mark
