Ben busy, man. Got engaged and shite, then grad school is kicking into high gear so I've been a little busy. Also, my focus shifts once the season starts, but October will slow down a bit for me so I should get a little more time to catch up on 'crootin'.

“Coach [Rodney] Garner is still recruiting me and trying to get me up to a game, and I had a bye week this week and it was close by,” Bellamy said. “He knows that I have not taken any visits yet, so he wanted me to come check out a game and see how live it is and get a feel for UGA football.” Bellamy was able to take in an SEC rivalry matchup that ended up being one of the more exciting games of the week, with Georgia narrowly defeating Tennessee 51-44 to stay undefeated at 5-0. The experience was memorable for Bellamy, as it was his first college game.

“I had a blast,” Bellamy said. “Seeing the fan support during warm-ups gave me chills. They love their Bulldogs. That town after they win is something you do not see too often.” “I am still 100 percent committed to Florida State because that is the coaching staff that I have the best relationship with,” Bellamy said. “Saturday night was the beginning for me to really start thinking about my decision. It was my first college game, so it would not be fair to make a decision without experiencing a game anywhere else. I am not going to put too much on my first one.”

“I have been talking to Nick Glass (Atlanta/St. Pius X) for the last month and I told him I wanted to come up for a game,” Bellamy said. “He showed me around a little and told me why he chose UGA. We did not talk football the entire time because we really just enjoyed hanging out.”

Although Bellamy has homecoming coming up this week, he is still considering going to South Carolina to see the Gamecocks take on Georgia. One thing the four-star defensive end is sure of is that he will visit two programs at least one more time.

“I am definitely going to give Georgia an official,” Bellamy said. “I will try to set it for the Nov. 3 game vs. Ole Miss. Georgia and Florida State will be two of my officials.”
