That's a tough break dude, I don't know what to do other than ask your madre and padre to rent it and y'all pay them back.

There is no way i would rent to 15-20 23 year olds as well. Couldn't charge enough to pay for the potential damage.

They rented to us when I was in school. Always left the houses spic and span...aside from the outside bushes, which were usually covered in about 15 gallons of barf.

Yeah, that's a rather large number. You'd usually rent to like 5 or 6 and just hope they have the house party elsewhere. 20 folks guaranteed just means that house is a designated launch pad for drunken revelry on the island

Yeah I know and I completely understand not wanting that many in a house for this particular weekend but having this many people is the only way to bring the individual cost down on the remaining houses.

Hate to tell ya man, but I'd look into a hotel on the mainland and drive the relatively short distance to the island from there. 20 folks breaking up a few nights rent of a beach house just ain't worth it. I mean, think of gameday and having to get ready after a night of hard drinking and partying. Thats a frick ton of folks trying to negotiate a single house

I've been suggesting hotel to the guy making the plans for weeks. I don't care so much about location or anything I just want to go and I feel like that has been our best bet from the beginning. Hell I'm fine even staying in jacksonville, I don't care I just want to go to the game.

Don't rent, just go down and shack up with a different slut every night!

My recommendation (especially if its your first Cocktail Party) is grab a cheapo hotel in Brunswick and get down there as early as you can. So, say, get down there early Friday (or Thursday, if you can manage a place to stay) stop in Savannah along the way and/or hit up Jekyll during the day for clean beaches, Sea Turtle Center, or Golf if that's your thing. At night, hop over to St. Simons for dinner and partying. It's a must-do at least once.

Saturday AM, go by a publix or kroger or whatever for some beer, hop on 95, and park near the convention center (parking is free, just have to buy a round trip shuttle ticket that drops off and picks up by the stadium before and after the game).
Beer is allowed on the shuttle as long as it's in a bag or cooler. From there, hook up with anyone you vaguely know at Talleyrand across from the stadium. Tailgating on mescaline, meth, and roids.
If you get antsy, check out the pre-game pep rally with the redcoats and cheerleaders hosted by the Jax Bulldog Club at the ampitheatre by the river.
Be sure to check out the bus over by the interstate overpass next to the stadium. Always slutty college womenz dancing sans panties for some upskirt viewing.
And, shite, take time to go check out the giant corporate fan set-up in front of the stadium with all the big screens, football stuff for kids, beer stations, etc.

Only downside to this plan is that going to the Landing after (god willing) a win would be tricky, given that you have to grab a car back across the river.

You could also try AMelia Island. I believe they have drunken charter boats that tai you down to the stadium in style with no traffic.

Yeah I think that's at the core of our planning. This is what we're focusing on for the most part.

If you are going to be there on Friday, most beautiful beach is Cumberland, but you have to hoof it from the ferry.

When you get down there on Thursday AM like me, it's all about pacing, man Frat beach is kind of like the Landing to me: Once in a lifetime is enough. After that, I kind of turn into an old man and either drink in a smaller group at a tailgate or post up at a bar. You know, one of them thur antisocial types

Brown had the UF trip planned before he committed, I'm not too worried.

I also feel like having a girlfriend causes those scenes to lose their appeal...
