Pulp fiction came out when I was a student, I can't tell you how many times we watched it while hanging around the house or getting warmed up to go downtown (on the VCR!). Really cool that Samuel Jackson likes to drop in on the team from time to time.

Swin says MM26 and B-Smith will be punt returners. Also said Mizzou's starting RT was carted off the field. James Franklin might start cramping in the 2nd quarter the way things are going. Dudes gonna be running his arse off

Saw that. I feel more secure with MM26 back there for some reason. On the recruiting front, Socrates on LHB states that he heard the UGA coaches may have gotten some good news on a RB recruit as well. He won't give a name....yet. hhmmmmm...

Sooooo, Swin is just regurgitating what was said on 247 and Rivals?

Also, had my first drop of alcohol in 3 weeks tonight and put away 5 glasses of Glenddich 15 year. I feel invincible.

So has everyone else. But I would rather have CTG have the coaching staff that he wants than have a Special Teams coach. Oh and frick bobo

It's really just a matter of "trying" when it comes to fricking up Special Teams.

Put a guy with speed, hands, and even just a little bit of vision at PR and KR (Smith or Mitchell).

Put your best LB's and DB's on coverage teams.

Put a fricking kicker and punter at kicker and punter.

Do you see what's missing? The walk-on with the heart of Gold. Sure, I'm happy for Kosta and Connor Norman and whoever else gets their number called, but I'd much rather it be Ogletree, Jarvis, Jordan Jenkins, Gilliard, Sheldown Dawson, etc.

No we don't.

It's about recruiting. No prospect wants to be recruited by a special teams coach. Can you imagine Malcolm Mitchell being recruited by GA's special teams coach vs. Alabama's DC?

Look, these coaches know what they're doing. It's about emphasis by not only the coaches but by the players as well. "Take ST seriously or GTFO my field" is what the message should be.

Richt should do what Beamer does at VT and take control of all special teams and really harp on execution. There's a reason that VT has been known for good special teams for so many years...Beamer stresses the shite out doing everything correctly. One big return or a blocked kick can totally turn a game around; look at the SECCG last year.

I have wanted Richt to do that for the longest time as well. Special teams flip games on a dime. I can't remember how many games Damien Gary and Boss Bailey flipped around in Richt's early years at UGA. As bad as it is, Fabris may have been the closest thing Richt has had to a special teams coach.

Dude, when I didn't get one my junior year I went down and we got 4 at face value from a UGA alum who had friends that had took too drunk to go in. Most of the old timers, if they have tickets, they won't rip you off.

Oh I'm not worried about getting one its just really frustrating how they choose to divvy out tickets.

I guess this is what I'm after then. Someone on the coaching staff to frickin take charge like Beamer does. Idc if it's Richt or Friend just someone who can do it and do it well and stess the importance of it.
