And I see we have a shot at RB A.J. Turman. Really like this guy's film. Great downfield runner, one of the best in this class imo,

agreed. Definitely underrated to me.

Looking like CTG is committed to running a 4-2-5 along with the 3-4 this year. Really likes the matchups and versatility of our guys we have on D this year at LB and in the secondary. He likes the idea of having Kwame and Motel 6 in there at the same time for a few snaps a game. Also look for JHC to get a lot of looks on the field in this formation mostly. CTG likes his body frame (6'5) in there at S. DT John Taylor will probably be the only freshman that redshirts on D this year. Very good sign.

Main summary of what Socrates has been saying today

CB Damian Swann has a cervical strain. Practicing with limited contact. Ditto for freshman LB James DeLoach (hamstring strain.)

I thought I gave one to my wife the other day...but then I found out "cervical strain"
is a neck injury

Bad news? Penn Wagers is at the scrimmage.

Although, maybe he's there to pocket some money so that he doesn't screw us again this year.

Looks like the Paris Bostick announcement is delayed once again. Plant pushed it back from tomorrow to 11am on Monday.

Kid is going to be a good one. He and Keith Marshall are going to give a lot of people fits.

Murray was 12-17 for 170 yards and 1 TD, Gurley had 6 rushes for 58 yards and 1 TD (I've always believed that Gurley was the better RB between the 2 freshmen), and ol' Marlon Brown had 6 catches for 103 yards and 1 TD.

Those are the offensive leaders from the scrimmage.

It was 1's vs 2's. According to Richt, the 1's on both sides got the better of the scrimmage. Which is to be expected at the first scrimmage of camp. I really like that Marlon is become the guy we all hoped he would.
