That kid will either be a freak or he will stop growing

My brother played with a kid similar when he was 8. My dad was fortunate enough to have the first pick in the draft the year he moved to town. Kid was dominant, on a different level than i had ever seen at that age. Moved a couple towns over the next year, never heard about him again

Should be sooner then that right? I believe he is 11-12 this year. Might be 2019-2020 RB/CB.
He is using plyometrics and not weights, so not sure that will have a physical effect on his future growth or not?

Herschel never touched a weight until high school, and even then he didn't work out very much. Only after getting to UGA did he actually start "working out" with weights. Up until then his sculptured physique was formed simply by pushups, pullups, situps, and running.
I don't think plyo will have a negative affect on this kid. But what the hell do I know.

Alright, here's my take on UGA recruiting right now:
1/4
I’m not going to rehash how “loaded” the state ad the entire southeast is because that’s been stated time and again. With VID day coming up, there’s going to be a LOT of talent in Athens and yes, Mark Richt WILL be there. Tray Matthews tweeted that there will be a big name commit this weekend (presumably a 4 star, possible 5 star guy) and other recruits have essentially confirmed it. One rumor is that Henry has Tunsil to the point where he wants to commit but his mother won’t let him because she wants him to take more time…and be closer to home. Richt has a knack for winning over parents; we need to hope he can work some magic here. Don’t think it’s either of the 5 stars that commit this weekend, though. Look for someone like Langley or Riles, both of whom would be very good pick ups. Cortez Leonard is a kid who I think would commit on the spot if offered. Jeremi Hall, 4 star Guard from Tri-Cities, will be there this weekend as well...we really need to offer this kid, in my opinion. He’s Devine’s teammate and they would like to play together. The biggest thing going for UGA this weekend is that Ramsey, Henry, Matthews, and Wiggins will all be on campus and recruiting for us. That could have a big impact for us in regards to how we fare.
We already have the pro-style QB we want, an absolute BEAST of a running back, 2 future NGs, and a very solid start to our DB class. As it stands right now, we’d have 22 spots open if all the Juniors stay and the walk-ons (except Faloughi) don’t have their scholarships renewed. Most believe that Ogletree and Jones will be gone, as well, and there’s a chance that Geathers jumps ship, too. That puts us up to 24-25, and it looks like the staff will try to take about 28 this cycle, so we still have about 21 spots open.

QB- we’re done. Unless Richt is fired, Ramsey will be a Dawg.
RB-I know we told Green we were done, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see us take another one. I don’t think we get Kamara…it just seems like he’s looking elsewhere at this point. Dye favors Clemson by a good bit but UGA is still in the hunt. Dye has the skills, size, and instincts to be an outstanding ILB, but he wants to carry the rock. Gallman looks to be the most likely, in my book. He has good size and very good speed, but needs some work on identifying and then hitting the hole. We could very possibly be done, or we could take one more if the right guys wants to commit.
WR- UGA is young at WR right now, but we’re in the mix for some very good WR’s right now. Terry will not admit it, and for good reason, but I have heard that he is a Dawg. He’s a great all around WR with speed, hands, and size. Ahmad Fullwood is a Florida kid who wants to leave the state…UGA and Bama are 2 schools he’s looking very hard at. He’s a big down field threat at 6’4” 200 lbs right now. Marquez North is UGA a serious look as well, and comes from a Charlotte area that has been pretty good to the Dawgs in recent year. Speaking of Charlotte, Uriah Lemay recently listed UGA as one of his favorites. The opportunity to play with his brother is very appealing and his family loves Richt. DeMarcus Robinson is the top in-state WR and the Dawgs are after him pretty hard. He has ties to Auburn but Auburn could potentially fill up at WR if he keeps waiting. In the end I think it comes down to UGA and UF for Robinson and, if there’s still room, I think UGA gets him. Mike Williams and Reggie Davis are 2 other guys to keep an eye on. We’ll definitely take 2, but could look at taking 3 or 4 WRs this class.

TE- Breneman is the big name here, but it looks like Penn State will be very hard to beat for this kid. Standish Dobard, out of Louisiana, is another 4 star TE who just received an offer but I’m not sure of his interest in UGA just yet. It doesn’t look like we’re going to be a big player with him. The best chance we have to bring in a top-flight TE in this class is Hunter Henry, a 6’6” 235 lb kid from Arkansas but who grew up in Cobb County…Dawg country. He’s not going to be an Orson Charles type guy who runs a 4.4 and can split out to slot without a problem, but he can block and he is a receiving threat. Arkansas and Notre Dame seem to be drawing his interest, as well.
OT- We’re in early for a lot of linemen and a lot of tackles. Shamire Devine, DeVondre Seymour, Joshua Outlaw, Laremy Tunsil, Aulden Bynum, Delando Crooks, and JUCO Trenton Brown all hold UGA offers and all have us in their top group. I think we’ll be looking to take 3, possibly 4, in this class and I’d rank them as follows: Tunsil, Devine, Seymour, Outlaw, Brown, Crooks, and Bynum. Tunsil is a man-child and could be a kid who makes an immediate impact and take PT away from one of our established guys. Devine is a good kid with pretty good feet but needs to add some upper body strength to really keep the stronger linemen from getting a hold of him inside. Seymour is very, very raw but could have the highest ceiling of the entire group…if Coach T can get him in shape and Coach Friend gets his technique straight, the kid will be a damn beast. Brown is simply a human mountain…the guy is huge and can definitely grate a road for a running back. Outlaw is a very good prospect but I personally like Seymour’s upside a bit more and Seymour has a bigger frame. Bynum JUST got his offer and I’ll admit that I don’t know much about him at this point, but he comes from the Valdosta area and they always put out good athletes.
OG/OC- Inside is more important than outside this year, in my opinion. After losing Brown last year and Jones graduating, we’re a bit thin inside. Some of the guys we’re looking at for Tackle can play inside (Outlaw and Crooks, if they add some mass), but I think you’ll see some more interior offers go out soon. At center, it seems like we might’ve put all our eggs in the Kublanow basket. Kublanow had the Dawgs out in front early but has since cooled it on naming any leaders. There were and still are rumors that he might be a UGA silent, but I don’t think there’s much to those RIGHT now. Either way, I think he ends up a Dawg. We’ve extended offers to Tyrone Crowder and Josh Cardiello at Guard, as well. Crowder is a bad arse on the interior and does like UGA, but it’s going to be a brawl to get him as he’s being pursued by most every big school in the southeast. Cardiello is a Buford kid and is very, very close with Kolton Houston and he’s friend with Dallas Lee, as well. I would say that Cardiello is essentially all but a lock for the Dawgs except for 1 factor…FSU. His dad played at FSU and he grew up an FSU fan. He really, really likes UGA though and it’s neck and neck for him right now. The other name to look out for right now, as I stated above, is Jeremi Hall. He’s a damn good Guard and I think our staff has told him it would be worth his time to come to Athens this weekend, because up until yesterday he wanted to take a break from recruiting this weekend.

DE/NG- We’ll be losing Abry Jones, Jon Jenkins, and possibly Kwame after 2012, but we have a decent start so far along the DL. Mayes and Moose Johnson are both NG prospect, to go along with Taylor from the ’12 class, so we should have size and depth there even if we lose both Geathers and Jenkins. Obviously, the biggest target along the DL right now is Nkemdiche…Clowney 2.0 with more size and better technique. Bama leads but UGA is going after him very, very hard and we’re not out of the fight yet. His recruitment will be very interesting. A good season will go a long way in helping with him. Montravius Adams is another big name in-state along the DL but it looks like he doesn’t want to really stay in-state. The coaches haven’t given up on him yet, but Clemson looks to have a pretty comfortable lead for him right now. Kelsey Griffin and Antonio Riles are 2 guys who will play DE that UGA is looking good for right now. Riles loved his UGA offer and is an athletic freak. Griffin could possibly crosstrain at DE/NG, but would be better served as a 3-4 DE. Isaac Rochelle is another big name we’re after but it looks like his interest in UGA is rather minimal right now…he’s also a teammate of Keyante Green, so that could hurt us with Rochelle.
OLB- JJ and CW’s departure this coming season will be greatly softened by the additions of Jordan Jenkins and JHC, but we still need some depth outside…Stripling has had moments but is vastly inexperienced and undersized right now. Morant looks to be a waste of a scholarship, unfortunately and I could see him transferring. Vasser plays hard but just isn’t cut out for our defense. Hopefully Floyd and Josh Dawson ca come in and help out immediately, too. We have some very talented guys looking at us for OLB, though. Garrett Sickles, an OLB from New Jersey, is looking south for school and has a great pass rushing skill set. The same can be said for his fellow Garden Stater Tashawn Bower. Naim Mustafaa is a DE/OLB prospect out of Alpharetta who could blow up soon…very underrated player and he could be a hoss at WILL linebacker. Another kid we’re looking at is Reginald Carter, a Georgia kid, who needs to bulk up a little bit, but who Grantham evaluated and liked enough to offer. I think we’ll probably take 2 or 3 here, and wouldn’t be surprised to see some more offers go out before the summer time. Mustafaa and Carter both have the Dawgs very high and we were one of Sickles first offers, so we’re looking good with some very solid prospects.
ILB- This position probably has fans worried the most. Ogletree, Robinson, and Gilliard all gone but Herrera returns, Ramik Wilson has the potential to be great, and Brandon Burrows is a solid player if he can get healthy. Either way, we need to bring in a haul at ILB. Much like Nkemdiche at DL, Foster is a BIG name here. Yes, he’s committed to Bama and it won’t be easy to sway him but Grantham is going to do everything he can to get him in red and black. Not saying we will get him or even that it’s likely right now, but we’re going to keep going after him hard. O’Neal is another solid Peach State linebacker and he can also have an immediate impact. He has great instincts and strength, but needs to be coached up a little bit and improve his technique, but thankfully we have Coach O who is one of the best in the business when it comes to that. It’s between UGA and GT for O’Neal so I really like our chances. Larenz Bryant, from Charlotte, also really likes the Dawgs and our depth chart. I like O’Neal better but Bryant is still a GREAT player and would see immediate PT were he to come to UGA. Ben Boulware from SC will be in Athens this weekend and he wants a scholly. He’s a human wrecking ball on the inside and plays with a lot of intensity. Alex Anzalone is a Pennsylvania kid who we recently offered; don’t know much about him or his interest in us. There are several LBs in the state we’re still evaluating and we’ll likely offer, but we’re also recruiting Raekwon McMillian in the 2014 class who has 5 star written all over him. He just got an offer and the coaches want him just as bad as they want Foster.
DB-UGA got a great jump on DB recruiting with 3 commitments from 3 very good players. Matthews, Wiggins, and Nelson make up a very good nucleus for our DB class. Brendan Langley is a kid whose recruiting has skyrocketed…UGA was his first offer and he grew up a UGA fan. Kid is a top 100 player in my opinion and I could see him pulling the trigger this weekend. Vonn Bell is a safety that we’re after very hard and he is one of the best in the nation but it looks like UT is the team to beat right now and I don’t really see UGA pulling him in. The good news is that this is a very deep DB class. Marqui Hawkins has the size and speed we want and could end up as a very good Safety if we land him; he likes UGA and we’ve offered, he’s a kid that I think would be a very, very good steal for us. Nadir Barnwell is another NJ kid we’re after and he’s one of the top Athlete’s in the nation, so I don’t really know if we stand a great shot with him but Lakatos is a Northeast guy and has great connections up there. Anything can happen. Taj Letman is a very good JUCO kid who will commit on the spot if we offer and I think we will given time. He’s very rangey and athletic and he’d be a good one for us. Bringing in Matthews, Wiggins, Nelson, Langley, Hawkins, and Letman would be a HUGE get for the staff and help shore up a thin secondary.
Obviously, it’s very early and recruiting is fluid but this is how we stand right now. Things could change big time after this weekend

Reports are that Tramel Terry is skipping his trip to Clemson this weekend and will be back in Athens. He's good friends with Ramsey and Henry, who will also be in Athens this weekend.

Bad news? Tunsil isn't visiting. Mama said she doesn't want him on the road and away from home with the bad storms rolling through.
