From Soc over on LHB:
Also from Soc (who was the former coach and now a scout for the Jets):

Someone want some info on the opening. The Georgia Commits that will be attending are:
Kublanow, Wiggins, Matthews, Ramsey, Terry, Wilkerson and Reggie Davis.
Targets attending: Foster, Lawson, Moore, Kamara, Crowder, McNeil, Trey Matthews, Langley, Bailey, Thomas.
Also from Soc (who was the former coach and now a scout for the Jets):
quote:
I sent a few plays to Bobo with permission from the offensive coaches utilizing an unbalance line and zone reads with Bauta at QB.
quote:
Plays will be utilized by Tebow of course, it is the Stanford 4 we call it.

Interdasting... Don will call bs but that's still pretty interesting. I was hoping we would use Bauta like that. The same way OU used their guy, #10 last year. Even if we don't use him much, and let's be honest Bobo will probably ignore it, it's another thing for the defense to prepare for like when they had to prepare for Shockley and Greene.

Anybody seen UWGDawg lately? I saw a post on LHB asking the same thing, and haven't seen him around. Anybody got any info?

He's posted on the secr a little and some on the ot but I think he's stayed away from the boards for the lost part.

Hearing Sheldon Dawson will get a chance to show his speed and get some carries at RB this year since the departure of IC. Dude is quick. I can't access any video sites at work so I can't give a link but if you get the chance go watch his highlights and watch some of his play at RB.

Kipp just tweeted a story that RF and TM have decided on a school.
My guess is Maryland...just a guess though

Thought this might interest the UGA fans that are big followers of recruiting. Our rivals site reported 4* DT Kelsey Griffin narrowed his list down to 5 today and listed them in his current preference order:
1) UGA 2) SC 3) UF 4) FSU 5) AU
Here is the LINK
I think that might be a pay article but he basically gives 1 sentence answers about what he likes of each. Hasn't visited FSU or UF yet but has visited UGA and SC and plans to visit each again.
I pay a decent amount of attention to recruiting but nothing hardcore but from what I hear from those that do our recruiting class this year is shaping up nicely, 18 commits so far, but is lacking in the DL area so it sounds like we could really use this guy.

So, now what's everyone's opinion on Gurley this year:
A.) Big impact - I consider a big impact for a TFr that's not #1 on the depth chart +500 yds and a few TD's.
B.) Moderate impact - 3rd down guy, a few goaline plays, good numbers during garbage minutes/blowouts.
C.) Little impact - Does not contribute much but gives guys a breather; stays #3 on depth chart behind KM and Boo
D.) Redshirts
I want to be bold and say A but I'm thinking B because I think KM will be even better than people are expecting, especially considering he was an EE. Not thinking he redshirts now with IC gone, does anyone else?

A, I think Gurley produces more this season than Marshall does.
