RF may be transferring to Smith Station. This benefits us the most IMO. Still a long road to NSD.

I would like to know how in the Hell that benefits Georgia. Smiths Station is still in Lee County, Alabama.

Did you read where we just determined that it is NOT happening because AMM AU said so? Try to keep up Capstone.

Smiths Station

I could be wrong...but didn't someone on the board mentioned that Smith Station had coaches that were very pro-Auburn. The head coach went to Auburn....or something like that...

I think that is correct. Either way no one not even Bama knows where this kid is going to end up in Feb.

I don't think he was adamant that it wasn't happening....

Head Coach at Smith's Station is VERY pro-Auburn. However, it is expected that he may be on his way out before the next year. Plus, Charles Flowers is pro-UGA. So, while not overwhelmingly pro-UGA, it does help more than him being at Auburn HS.

Also, one of the posters on LHB is a coach at Smiths. His info would become even more reliable if Foster were to go there. Obviously that doesn't help or hurt UGA, just increases the info we recruitniks will have on Foster's recruitment

Richt can now leave his job at UGA without owing the University any money...I don't think he'll be at UGA in 2016.

Seems to me that this is just confirming what he has always stated- that he would likely completely retire from coaching when he is finished at UGA.

Foster is an EE. Where Ed he goes in Jan is where he'll be in Feb...(obviously that assumes his grades don't get screwy during all these transfer(s), which cld happen if he leaves AHS).

Mustafaa will be on campus Saturday with Shaq Wiggins. Also, according to the 247 staff, we lead for Tunsil right meow. He will be camping at UGA next week to work under Friend (Mother will be with him) and he's looking at Dawg Night.

Love the "right meow". Even better than the "now" it was likely meant to be.

Coach Flowers, pretty much RF's father figure, is an assistant at Smith Station and is pro-UGA and pro-CMR/CTG. While SSHS head coach is an Auburn grad and pro-AU, he isn't known to steer his players to AU. He'll give his insight and positive view on AU but he doesn't push them there like it's the end of the world. And like Durden said he might not be there next year and Flowers could possibly take over as head coach at SSHS. Of course, most of this is speculation but it does benefit UGA and it's just more good news for our fans that are interested in RF's recruitment.

What's the general consensus among UGA and AU fans?

Is it SSHS = UGA
AUHS= AU
bama on the outside looking in?

Serious question, I know most bama fans feel confident no matter where he plays this year but I've seen a lot of different opinions from uga and au

I think he ends up at Bama personally. Worst case scenario for both Bama and UGA is if he stays at Auburn High school. If he goes to Smith's station, i think UGA and Bama's chances go a bit higher.
