Damnit, that one stings. Fortunately we have depth there but I really like the way he plays and hate that he will miss out on the development.
Outside of RB, we've been pretty damn fortunate with injuries.

We are about to find out how good we are.. We need Big Game Ewers to show up and punch them in the mouth.. they won't stay down, but it will send a message early..

It's a game of chess. Kirby will be trying to predict what Sark's script looks like.. and Sark will be trying to predict how Kirby will defend it.
So far, Georgia's defense isn't as good this year. In fact, they have been slowly getting worse each year since 2021 based on Points Per Drive.
They have definitely played a harder schedule so far though..

I think one of the running backs needs to have a big game to win this game. I like Sark to use the Baby Rhino as a tendency breaker, but Gibson won't be on the field unless Sark trusts him in pass protection. I dunno - maybe I am crazy.

I think Texas is going to be a pass heavy team this week. Wisner has looked very good in the run game, but I think Blue breaks a big one this week. He's due.

I could see Gibson getting carries.. but Wisner has earned some reps.. he looked really good last week and I like the way he runs with an attitude..
I do think Blue will find some space this game as well.
I didn't see a whole lot of wrinkles in the last game.. that tells me Sark has had this game circled for a while. I expect him to dial up some looks we haven't seen before.
We could even see him run some Go Go.

I have a feeling our defensive stats are a little overrated right now.. so I assume a model doesn't know how to adjust for that.. I do like our chances, but I think Georgia needs to win this game, and they aren't used to being a dog either..
But I would love that outcome.
