Any idea on Sydir Mitchell?

If we have any portal candidates on this years team Sydir has to be at the top of the list. I had high hopes for this kid, but I don't think he will pan out...and I expect Sark to trapdoor him if he doesn't jump in the portal on his own free will.

Seems like he saw the weight T'Vondre Sweat played at and thought he could do the same. T'Vondre is a freak of nature and still wrecking shop in the NFL while Sydir can barely do 2 snaps in a row before he needs a breather.

That explains it. I agree, I had high expectations for him. It’s a shame it probably won’t work out.

Going to be interesting to see if he sticks it out with Texas or hits the portal. Seems like he’s starting to point in the right direction.

Sweat wasn’t all that the first couple of years either.. had to work his way out of Bo Davis’s doghouse too..

Mitchell could still be a player.

But getting Terry will help if he doesn’t..
