I bet there will be 80,000 - and I worry most of them will be hog fans.

I would be pretty surprised to see it at 80k when year one of the series was the only time it ever cracked 70k. Both teams were ranked and undefeated in 2016 (A&M #10, Pig #17) and it even got a prime time kickoff at 8pm but it only hit 67k.

I'm going to guess it ends up around 68k at the high end and 64k on the low.
It'll probably be in the 70k range.
Either way, I'm not sure why people hate this game. We outnumber Arkansas fans every year (which practically gives us a home field advantage). Recruits love it. And it is in Texas. The game is more favorable to A&M in every imaginable way possible.

B/c playing at Kyle and getting to go to an opponents stadium >>>>>>>>> than sitting in an overpriced corporate museum that's stuck out in lame arse Arlington.
CFB is great b/c of the traditions, fan intensity, and pageantry. You get none of that at JerryWorld.
Charging bowl prices (if you go through the school) for a regular season conference game is the cherry on top of the giant suck pie.

This. I mean, hell, this year in particular, it's GREAT that we don't have to walk into a maelstrom in Fayetteville like our lil bros from Austin did. I've been to a SouthWest Classic--the TV cameras don't do the Aggie advantage in Jerryworld much justice. The way the 12th Man took over Mile High? That's par for the course for the 12th Man in Jerryworld. Great venue, strong Aggie support, it's wonderful having the game there.

I went to the 2013 Aggie/Hogs game in Fayetteville (was stationed in MO at the time), and also the 2014 game in Jerryworld the very next year. Gotta say, I loved both experiences just as much. The '14 game was DEAFENING down the stretch--12th Man was en fuego

Pssh, not true at all. Razorback fans are still calling the Hogs as loud as ever, and the "hullabaloo" drum beat/whoop response is incessant. Both bands march. Aggies make the place ring with "Saw Varsity's Horns Off" to start the 4th quarter. The environment is fantastic because the fans CREATE it, on the spot. Our games there have been intense as hell.

As a fan the game sucks for atmosphere for game day. There are no sports bars around there so if you come in and spend the night the day before or that evening after the game you are in no man's land unless you are tailgating. You are probably having to go back to the hotel and then taxi back out. You go to a bar to watch games and there might be a few fans there but generally it is locals in Cowboys gear. Not full of college fans.
The game itself is fine at JerryWorld but having been to Arkansas away and of course in College Station... JerryWorld sucks. A game in Fayettville is much more desirable to me. Real college atmoshpere just like College Station.

Has Arkansas had to deal with any sort of hostile environment this season?
Could the crowd rattle Jefferson on Saturday?
Calzada had to deal with one on the 11th.

Absolutely true and if people actually liked it the attendance wouldn't be such shite. The environment at Kyle and DWR CRUSHES JerryWorld. It's not even close.

Lol the gap's not as big as some of y'all make it out to be.
I actually enjoyed the '14 Jerryworld game over the '13 Fayetteville one.

But again, if it is an advantage to our team, then why leave? I get that some fans don't care for it, but complaining about the venue isn't necessarily a valid reason to leave. Jimbo did hint early on that it helped in the recruiting trail and that our players loved playing there (which is what this should be all about at the end of the day).
We practically outnumber Arkansas fans and create a home crowd advantage every year. Outside of message board people complaining, what's a good reason to leave this massive advantage behind? Playing in Arlington every year gives us a better chance at winning than if we played in Fayetteville every other year (That's not an easy place to win).
We really have a good thing going for us. Unfortunately, it does seem like it is coming to an end soon unless Jerry Jones throws more money at both schools.

This would be a legitimate argument if you were a broke student. But this game was always intended to target the established alumns (and their families) of both schools in the North Texas area. The bar/nightlife was never a selling point (but they're there if you look for them).
I've been to the Arkansas game three times from Houston and thought the game atmosphere and tailgating scene were pretty good. It's not everyday when you see a healthy mix of both fanbases tailgating in the same general area.

I think the attendance has more to do with one or both teams being irrelevant.
Just look at the 2019 Kickoff game hosted at Jerryworld. #11 Oregon vs #16 Auburn only drew 60k fans to the game.
Outside of the WLOCP and the RRS, neutral site games that don't have national championship implications don't draw good attendance. If anything, were probably doing pretty good all things considered. The Texas Kickoff in Houston hasn't drawn over 50k since 2017.

If that were true the game in '16 would have had more than 67k. A&M was ranked #10, Arkansas was ranked #17, both were undefeated, and it was a prime time kick.

Maybe locals just simply don't want to go to a conference game in JerryWorld on a Saturday when many of them also have tickets to the Cowboys the following day?

The novelty wore off. Kyle Field every other year, please.
