People on 247 are making comments that Ausbon wanted the whole team to boycott the season, and got into arguments with the coaches about it. Wonder how much of it is true.

Quality possession receiver, but next man up. We will be young at receiver, but we should be faster. Let's just see who wants to play and see what happens.

There is some truth to this, but just as bi an issue was that he was getting passed up at outside receiver. The coaches were realizing that he’s basically a less athletic Dylan Wright, Demas is a whole other animal and Kam Brown/Chapman were showing out too.

He did get sideways with the coaches but not just because of the social stuff.

I liked his other tweet: A lot of other guys been stepping up. (With a Hmm emoji)

I guess I know why he wanted the whole team to boycott but this is probably a good life lesson for him. Not everybody wants to do the same thing. Some of those guys are going on to play in the pros. And college ball is a proving ground for them. Let them boycott later when they are making the big bucks. And maybe some of those guys just want to play football as they have been since they were knee high.

Another Sumlin 2017 player.

Still waiting for Mond to opt out.

Who takes Hines' spot? Hansford, Lee or Cooper?

If Mond does, I will think well played. Crappy, but well played.

I don't mind Hines opting out, I mind the timing. Feels planned and malicious.

There is definitely a division in the team with some of Fisher's guys versus the old. It will be interesting to see how it works out - Hines had so much unrealized potential
