Just no. If Vandy forces A&M to 3-and-outs for most of the entire damn game, they still have to hand the ball to their offense. And then what? Absolute worst case we lose a close one, say 9-7. But I'm not seeing that, either. Not with TBird at MLB.
I'm not worried about 3 and outs because of Kaser, but I am worried about turnovers. Their defense could easily force a turnover score and another 1-2 TOs that lead to FGs. If they do that and then their offense has a single scoring drive, they will have put up enough points to possibly beat us. Seriously. Our offense is completely jacked right now. Auburn's defense is dog meat and they held us to 10 points on our own freaking field. Now we're rolling in with our 3rd string QB who has a nice arm, but is a statue. You blitz 6 every down and sure he'll complete a few passes when the OL (shockingly or accidentally) does its job, but on the majority of downs he's going to rush a throw or eat a sack because he's only going to have a second and a half to get rid of it. And you can blitz because you know he's not going to escape the pocket and hit somebody or run for 10+ like Kyler or even Allen could.
I'm in full-blown "sky is falling" mode, but how can anybody not be after watching our OL get skull fricked by a bottom 20-30 defense in the country? And now we have a statue making his first start, on the road, against a very good defense, behind a line that's played like crap all season. And nobody thinks this might end poorly?

Forget Vandy I'm worried about Western Carolina

Ending poorly is losing by 1 point. There's no way Vandy beats A&M by 2 TDs.

Y'all know I like you, but I really am hoping for a win here. Beating Mizzou isn't really as satisfying as beating TAMU would be. The latter just has more cachet.
Our offense is only an offense in the sense that we are in possession of the ball at that point, though rarely for very long. But our D is starting to show why Coach Mason was one of the top coordinators in the country. So I'm cautiously optimistic, at least more so than I would have been a month ago. My main concern is that y'all might figure out what's causing your recent problems, because all the pieces are there on both sides of the ball. The pieces just aren't holding together cohesively. On talent and coaching alone, I don't see our offense making a dent against the likes of Chavis and Garrett, so it comes down to whether Sumlin manages to get your offense clicking again.
We could be looking at a score very similar to our game against Florida. I hope you'll forgive me for wanting to be the larger number, just once.
Edit: Incidentally, my trolling starts next week, after UK. I may say hurtful things. Just a heads-up.

You may have a difficult time scoring on Vandy but you will only need 17 points to win. Their offense is an atrocity. Atm has always done well with the lower tier programs and I expect the same.

We only have 21 vs WCU.

And this game really should be 21-7 to be fair

Vandy plays way better defense than these guys and we are having trouble moving the ball tonight.
