He just doesn't have it. It could be alcohol or whatever, but at this point it doesn't matter what the excuse is. Sumlin will never win the west or an SEC championship.

I don't disagree. I'm upset about today too. Losing to last place sucks. Part of being perpetually irrelevant is understanding that once a year you are going to be seriously disappointed by this team. Once a year this team will be seriously exposed. Today is that day this year. Last year it is was ole miss. The year before that it was state. The year before that it was Bama. The year before that it was lsu. The year before that it was arkansas. The year before that it was lsu in the cotton bowl. Once a year this team is reminded that we are incapable of greatness. We suck.

We were 6-2, which was the same as LSU, but they had the tie breaker. I'd call that third in the division, and I'm not just being negative for the sake of it.

It's fitting that this year Sumlin would get his best win and his worst loss. If you're gonna hype him up in the good times, you have to stand by him in the bad. Sumlin is on thin ice, but let's not call for his job just yet. His seat should be nice and warm though.

Why give him a chance? He's proven to squander talent and fail to properly motivate and develop a winning mentality in his team. If I'm sure if anything, it's that Sumlin is a mediocre coach who will never win anything of significance. Everybody knows it, hell Sumlin probably know it and that's why he's always drunk.

I've never praised Sumlin, baw. I'm not discounting your Aggie football fan hood, I'm just saying I have ten years more pain, disappointment, and embarrassment than you. You got to watch a heisman winner in college, I got to watch Reggie McNeal. You couldn't possibly comprehend my BAS. Hell, you just learnt what that phrase means.
