Didn't realize Hamm was a part of the Other 98. Interesting.

Not sure why he hasn’t realized he needs to find another calling in life, but his call I guess

It’s amazing the difference a year and good coaching makes. At this time last year we were on page 7 on the 2018 recruiting thread, right now we are almost to page 80.

We all knew 2017 was a waste of time after the KSU game. I’m only now emotionally invested again

Erick young is now a 5* on rivals. His 247 score is still hurting his composite but hell probably rise a little

I doubt he moves at all. He only moved up one stop on rivals, meaning the composite will barely be impacted. 247 is what's dragging him down.

Rivals is a joke. ESPN has surpassed it by quite a bit which is saying something

Brock TE Baylor Cupp will graduate in December and enroll at Texas A&M in January.

Calzada and J.Carter as well

Doesnt this mean they will count for 2018? Be cool if we could pick up another LB or two.

What's up with the rivals article about A&M suing Jeff Banks for breach of contract?

This was from the 247 article.

quote:

Banks, who served as the Aggies interim head coach for the Belk Bowl in December after the firing of former head coach Kevin Sumlin, left the Aggies in May to become Alabama’s special teams coach. Banks' contract with Texas A&M was slated to run through March 2019, earning $375,000 per year, according to his contract obtained by The Eagle. According to reports from 247Sports.com and USA Today in May, Alabama athletics director Greg Byrne said at the time they are “still working on” Banks’ buyout with A&M. According to Banks’ contract, since he took a job with an institution in the Southeastern Conference, his buyout is the remaining salary left on his contract. Byrne said that number should not exceed $457,448, according to a report from 247Sports.com. According to multiple reports, Banks at Alabama is slated to make $267,552 over a three-year contract. He will earn $267,000 in his first year and will see a raise to $550,000 after Jan. 11, 2019, according to 247Sports.com

I briefly tried looking up the rules...I know they changed a couple of years ago but couldn't find anything and didn't want to go look through the NCAA site.

As an FYI...I did a quick calculation of our 25 recruits composite score of 90.88. If you take out the scholly for our kicker, it increases the rating to 91.40. That would be our actual comparison to all programs that aren't awarding schollys to kickers/punters this year. Just a number to keep in mind.

Baylor Cupp just got his 4th star on rivals. Would like to see Adrian Medley and Andre White Jr. Bump up as well.
