BP said it was because of Rivals, 247 has him rated at a 90 4*. After he commmited rivals just threw in a 5.7 rating, which brought down his composite score.

Rivals typically doesn't start rating most of the non top-250 until the Spring unless they are committed, so they just threw a 3 star rating on him and it brought down his composite. It's pretty standard and will likely change.

The 247 rankings are honestly more reliable than even the composite IMO, rivals is so understaffed and they just can't scout like they could 10 years ago. 247 has an army of scouts.

Williams has really started be a great cowbell for the class, most people said he was a pretty quiet guy before committing. So it is good to see him stepping up and being a vocal leader, because it probably doesn’t come natural for him, and it seems like he is all in for the good of the class.
