If Calzada couldn’t deal with the criticism he got at A&M I’d be very surprised if he went to LSU

allegedly it's King

If King couldn't go, I wonder if Jimbo would roll with Bost or try to simplify the playbook and try to get Stowers coached up.

I haven't heard his press conference yet but apparently he said Bost was 'expected' to start

Bost will start.
King will continue to practice, no word on if he'll take any snaps in the bowl game.

If he's healthy enough to practice then he's healthy enough to play in 2+ weeks.

You would think so, but there's still a lot more risk with live snaps vs wearing the green jersey in practice.

If he was fully cleared and able to play Dec 30, I don't get why Jimbo would announce Bost as the starter so early. So it leads me to believe they are choosing not to risk any injuries in an exhibition and wait until 2022 to let him loose again.

I'm going to laugh my arse off if Bost plays, lights it up, then transfers to a smaller school. Let's be honest, he's just here for a free education. He knows he'll never be a significant contributor.

Bost is a walk on, so not even getting a free education.

shite. Forgot about that. In that case, I hope he tears it up in the bowl (if he plays) and Lamar or SFA offer him a scholly.

Max Johnson officially committed today. Like the 2022 QB room a lot more than last year's.

Haynes King (3rd year, 2 career starts)
Max Johnson (3rd year, 14 career starts)
Conner Weigman (true FR)

If Weigman can pick up the playbook fast enough, he could beat both of those out.
