Meachem with backup QB - comes back from 31 down vs. Oregon
Spavital with starting QB - scores 10 points vs. Auburn

Yeah but you know our fanbase would go all "it shouldn't have been like this in the first place" and would treat it like a loss.

Without a doubt

To be fair, our big comebacks don't usually come against programs of Oregon's caliber. They come against Fresno State and FIU and, on a good day, six win Arkansas teams.
Little different

I'll play devil's advocate
Oregon and the rest of the Big12 have terrible defenses. TCU tonight had to wait until Oregon's QB went down to stop the momentum and score against the #116 Total Defense in the country. Yeah, TCU was with a backup, but it was still against the #116 ranked defense. Not impressed at all.
Also consider this; half of the Big12 ranks in the 100s in total defense. Meacham may be all smoke and mirrors. His offense reminds me of those Big12 offenses that always folded in those Big12vsSEC Cotton Bowls of the 2000s. And quite frankly, these spread offenses have a hard time thriving in the SEC when they focus on throwing the ball (which is what TCU does). The Ole Miss game last year was a fluke. Ole Miss just failed to show up. Try that shite week in and week out in the SEC and you're bound to lose some games (Air Raid under Manziel is about as good as it gets )
Personally, I would rather get Mazzone over Meacham just because Mazzone actually snaps the ball under center. Running the ball on 3rd and one from the shotgun is pure
Also, Meacham looks like a wino. Last thing we need with our alleged alcoholic HC is a guy who looks like he drinks Pabst Blue Ribbon as if it were water.

He looks like actor/director Tony Goldwyn.

Unless you're over like 45 or 50, then you're in the clear.

There's no place
that I'd rather be
than right here,
with my red neck,
white socks,
and Blue Ribbon Beer.

It's not a team meeting, it's a press conference/statement of some sort.
