I don't feel bad he got fired. He got north of 1 Million during his stay at A&M. His career could tank and he would still be able to retire quite comfortably (that is assuming he didn't spend it all on dumb shite like a house in College Station).

If he invested the way he calls plays, he probably dumped everything into Enron

Tbird why do you have that piss target "C" logo with the cock in it on your sig pic?

Gotta say I'm not super-upset about passing on Meach after this bowl

I wouldn't take too much stock into one game when he didn't have his QB

Yup. They lost their starter and they become crap.
I can only imagine how bad he could be if he were to lose 2 QBs

TCU should be having more success running the ball. This Oregon defense is bad.

Meach ran four Verts on 4th and medium.

Down 11...he's also had his team going in 6th gear while Spavital has been stuck in neutral for 2 seasons now.

I have not gone out of my way to watch UCLA football. From a small sample size, I thought their offense looked better with Hundley, who was a dual threat QB. But Rosen had some good games, too.
Mazzone wants a QB who can quickly size up the alignment of the defense, then choose the correct packaged play option. The QB isn't a robot, blindly running a set play signaled in, like we did when I played back in the Dark Ages.
Hubenak seems to be smart enough to do this. I am concerned about his accuracy after seeing him in the bowl game. He missed Kirk up the sideline early and at the Louisville 6 late. Well placed balls would have been TDs. We have to execute better, or it won't matter who the playcaller is.

Sumlin making that announcement in the next half hour might be the only thing that can save his butt at this point.
