It's the most important game of the season until the next game. All have the potential to make or break the season for a #5 ranked team. None will be easy.

I did a little research on them. They’re middle of the pack SEC in everything. Total O, Total D, Pass O, Pass D, Rush O, Rush D, scoring O, Scoring D, TOP, Penalties, Sacks, Sacks Allowed, 3rd Down %. Everything was between 4 & 9, but usually 6 or 7.

We won with bad Mond, like really bad, last week. We can probably make due with Alabama or Ms State level Mond and win if we play well in other facets.

Agreed. I think our biggest test will be Ole Miss

Agree with the Mond sentiment. Would be very nice to have a consistent QB.

Farmer, I did not realize they were that mediocre. For some reason I thought their defense was pretty stout.

I really think our o-line will be back to for m this week. From what I saw from them in interviews I don't believe they are happy at all with how they played.

I'm wondering about the scheme for the game. How is it going to help receivers get open more consistently?

I was worried about Ole Miss, but I don't think we'd have to pass the ball pretty much at all. Their defense in general is simply terrible. Especially the run defense

Defensively I think Auburn is talented enough to scheme out the run if Mond can’t hit anything over the top. We desperately need him/our receivers to be better than last week otherwise I think we will have a really tough time scoring

And Malzahn’s gimmicky bull shite always seems to catch us off guard for some reason

That said we all know how Mond is and it’s entirely possible he comes out and tears shite up this Saturday, in which case I don’t think we have much of an issue

Good point. I just feel like our secondary isn't quite there.

It’s so weird how even though we’ve out gained them by about 250 yards and held the ball about 20 min more over the last 2 combined, yet still found ways to lose both. Madness.

I honestly don't see how you can have confidence in mond and Auburn is more than capable of scheming out our running game

We need the defense to finally get over our historical problems with Auburns offense cause I fear we are looking at another rough week on the offense

That’s interesting, I actually thought they ran the ball a lot better on us last year before looking back at the box score (though we still didn’t do all that great in that department). I thought it was more like 250 or so yards at 5-6 ypc

Here is how they did per drive.

75 yards - TD (57 yard TD run)
9 yards - punt
46 yards - TD (gave up a big punt return for a short field)
0 yards - punt
-4 yards - punt
18 yards - punt
0 yards - punt
38 yards - TD (Spiller fumble)
-3 yards - punt
29 yards - punt
69 yards - TD (this is the only sustained drive)
-2 yards - fumble
9 yards - end of game

2 short fields
1 big play
1 good drive

My honest opinion? I think this is a rare occasion where we come out and just beat the ever living crap out of someone, we are due
