Reggie McNeal (2005)
Stephen McGee (2008)
Jerrod Johnson (2010)

Johnson, Tannehill, and then slim pickens. Sad list.

I was looking back at stats from 90’s, Pullig really improved every year and had more yards than I would have guessed just going off memory.

These are all the A&M returning senior starting quarterbacks over the last 25 years.

McNeal
Tannehill
McCown
Pullig
Johnson
Mond
McGee
Farris

I still maintain Fran wasting Reggie McNeal is the greatest travesty in the history of A&M athletics. The guy was a better runner and passer than Vince Young and should have been a superstar.

If only Fran would’ve went where he would’ve been appreciated... like Georgia Tech.

Is the ranking supposed to be what we thought of them going into their senior season?

Pullig, McCown, and Tannehill were the only ones to actually finish the season as the starting QB.

Combination of that, potential, and expectations of that season itself.

I didn’t start following Aggie fb until I moved to CS in 7th grade which was 2003 so skipping those guys.

So for me it’s:
-Tanny cuz of the late run and we were like 9 in the preseason
-McGee, since we beat Texas and Sherman was supposedly going to change Stephen from an option qb to a passer
-Reggie mostly due to talent. The cotton bowl proved we weren’t ready for big boy SEC football, but Reggie was a great talent
-Jerrod, Sherman has been a flop thus far... meh

Since the criteria for picking the qbs were open ended I ranked then based on the season I was excited about opposed to the starting qb. I’m sure the “next year is our year” plays into effect here but I’d put Mond 2nd begins Tanny. I think we will win 10 with it a doubt and then lose 2 or maybe if LSU regresses without their seniors, just 1 game.

In terms of just judging by qb straight up he’s Probably 4th our last for me

Yeah, It's a pretty narrow race,
