This idiot's obsession is just unhealthy. I think a mental compensaty hearing is in order. I mean I enjoy trolling the sips as much as the next Ag but this guy's complete hatred of all things Aggie is just psychotic.

I mean, there's your garden variety message board hatred, then there's doing cursory research to buttress a fleeting argument..........
.....and THEN there's complete overarching psychotic obsession.
AND THEN there's whatever you call Randolph Duke's behavior

This Wikipedia and WSJ stuff is really bizarre since I've also seen him on the comment threads of both pertinent SBNation blogs and every large sports site you'd care to name when there's an A&M story, all making the same tired aggy jokes. It's like he spends his entire life refreshing the whole goddamn Internet for Aggie references to shite on. I doubt more than 25% of his posts on Shag are actually about the Longhorns. Dude has CFB Asperger's Syndrome.

I sent a message to the editor who locked it explaining that this was not "an Iowa-Minnesota-TAMU issue".

If I get time I am am gonna do the same with links to a bunch of his anti Aggie posturing on various message boards to show that he is just an obsessed idiot.
Posted on 2/2/14 at 12:54 pm to Agforlife
Make sure to explain that he keeps citing himself by using that WSJ blog article. That isn't a valid source anyway, but that is beside the point.

Yeah I will try I got a bunch of trucks looking for loads to make up for the lost shite due to the weather so I'm gonna be busy as hell wiyh that plus got ppl coming over for super bowl today but I'll try and carve out some time to go find and link all of his obsessed bs later tonight if I can.

Thanks all I have is my phone right now (gotta keep the pc on the terminal load board to get our drivers back rolling) so it's a real pain to search out and link individual places he posts. I am still going to try later tonight or tomorrow when I get all our trucks loaded and rolling again. I have to go learn how to do shite on wiki too

quote:
While its Corps of Cadets numbers some 1850 (give or take) approximately only 42% of those “cadets” are active in ROTC training.
On many sites, I've debunked this flawed analysis, but just so everyone else understands and is well-armed:
1. There are just over 2,200 cadets now.
2. The majority of the cadets are black belts. Cannot assume a uniform class size due to attrition. So, it's about 30% fish, 25% pissheads, 23% butts, and 22% zips.
3. Using items 1 and 2, you get the following:
fish = 660 (660/660 ROTC)
pissheads = 550 (550/550 ROTC)
butts = 506 (218/506 ROTC)
zips = 484 (204/484 ROTC)
That means at any one time, between 74%-75% of the Corps participates in ROTC.
4. These numbers do not count SMP (reservists who are also cadets), OCS, or PLC numbers, nor do they include the numbers of those who either don't start ROTC until their zip year, don't graduate in 4, or enlist for any reason after final review. That would bump the total number for any one class to about 52-55% service.
5. NOW we get into the part about how A&M cannot, by law commission every cadet:
The way the accession process works is that, out of any one year group, about 1/3 have to be academy graduates, 5/8 have to be ROTC, and the remainder are OCS/DC/other source. All service academy commissions are active duty
Of that 5/8, those slots are distributed over every university with an ROTC program...with 20+% reserved for the Senior Military Colleges. That means, between A&M, Citadel, VMI, VPI, North Georgia, and Norwich, they aren't allowed to commission more than 1/8 (12.5%) of THE ENTIRE ALLOCATION OF ACCESSIONS for any one year group.
Translated into simple math: If there are 3,000 Army Lieutenants in YG2014 (which December 2013 is included in), all six senior military colleges combined are limited, by law to 375 Army 2LTs between December 2013 and August 2014.
Army Major with 14 years in who worked for USAAC for 2 years >>>>>>>>>>>> some shithead claiming to be a lawyer on this subject.
