Tbird, I was really referring to Pat and to a lesser degree farmer.

Pat does the same thing during basketball season, illogically defends Kennedy against all reason but never really refutes the in depth posts that offer largely irrefutable data. It's his right to do, but is annoying.

I just think you're overrating how good Ole Miss is but maybe I'm wrong

I don't really think they're that much better than MSU right now

All I know is that Saturday night is a huge game for us. And it's a huge game for KA.

Nah. You're gonna get your game-face on and get after it. A "W" on Saturday night, and the world looks different.

This is schtick right?

That's how I always viewed it, because there's no other explanation for it.

Since Alabama in 2012, Sumlin's defining win, we are 2-9 against teams who in hindsight had talent equal to or better than our own.

If you're only giving him 2 wins, you're either over rating our talent or ignoring a bunch of solid victories against equivalent teams

2012 OU
2013 Ole Miss
2013 Duke
2014 Arkansas
2014 Auburn
2014 WVU
2015 Arizona St
2015 Miss St

That's 8 wins (vs 9 losses, although I think it should be 10) against roughly equivalent teams

You and I have different definitions of equivalent it seems.

Under no scenario should an SEC team with Johnny Manziel under center ever need to come back from down 21 against Duke. Ever.

Hoe about the scenario where duke was the best they've ever been and coached by cutcliffe vs us having the worst defense in the history of Texas A&M?

It was only our second year as a "SEC" team.

Not even then.

A&M closed that game on a 42-13 run, had we come out of the gate prepared and focused we win by 30.

We came out of the gate prepared and focused and the refs took points off the board with penalties against Mike Evans and allowing the Duke DB's to mug our receivers without any calls. That got us off track and eventually we over came that hole and pulled it out.

Shut up with your reasons. We should win every game by 50+ just 'cause and we deserve it because we're aggy!!

We always have an excuse, I'll give our fan base that.

Your expectations for our athletic department are so low that there really isn't any point in trying to have a real discussion about it. I wish I was as easy to appease.

If we have Chief as DC we win that game 45-24 or something. That may qualify as an excuse but it's a problem that we appear to have fixed. I will admit I have questions about our current staff and am still not totally sold though

Pointing out the where, why and how something breaks down is not excuse making it is simply looking at what is there and understanding the causes and results.
