My first and only visit to the grove to see Eli fall down in 2003 was an eye opening experience for an 18 year old boy from the RGV

What’s everybody’s thoughts on the Auburn game? Looking at their board they seem a bit unsure of themselves. Seems like they’re playing better this season than expected, but still know they have some positions that need to play better.

I think if calzada can play well we can come out on top in this game. I think defense can control Bo Nix who has never impressed me at Auburn. Seems like he may their version of kellen Mond, good enough to start but the whole fan base feels like there should be someone better on the roster than he is, but there’s not.

* and before CGSC comes in with his pessimistic stats, yes I’m aware that the away team pretty much wins the game in our series and they are 4-0 at Kyle since we joined the SEC.

I don't really feel good about the next two, which is good for A&M. I won't be watching once again, so that hopefully can win. If we do win, think it solidifies Stewart (Evan), and a few others. Especially with the sips tanking it down the stretch

I worry any game we play with Calzada taking the snaps. He showed out vs Bama, but outside of that he hasn't looked good. He doesn't need to win the game, but he needs to manage the game. Don't get happy feet. Don't turn the ball over. Make a few key 3rd down or redzone throws.

I love our OL growth. It's opening things up in the run game and helping Calzada get more comfortable. I think we'll be able to move the ball on the ground as long as we can keep them honest with some passing.

Defensively, they're a fairly tough challenge. Nix's ability to run and extend plays is always dangerous. He's currently got a career best in YPA, Comp%, TD-INT Ratio, and QB Rating. They also have some serious speed in the backfield. We know how dangerous that is. But I think our DL vs their OL and I like Elko to disguise enough to make Bo make a mistake or two with the ball.

The line opened at -6.5. That seemed high to me and must have to everyone else too, but its dropped since then to -4.5.

Overall, I am surprised just how well Auburn has played this year. I expected them to have some transition pains.

I see Auburn and Ole Miss as true coin tosses which makes me think we split them. LSU I am more confident but we can absolutely lose that game. I would be good with a 9-3 year after the King injury and how we started.

Who knows. We’re literally down to our 4th and 5th corners

Also Daronte is playing way more zone. Pelini’s retarded man to man actually worked against Jimbo to an extent and we weren’t as banged up. This zone can get carved up

Antonio Doyle seems to be leaving the program. Disappointing.

Early thoughts for Ole Miss? Seems like they are struggling late season (maybe some injuries?) didn’t really put away ex coach freeze and liberty yesterday. On the road so we’ve got that against us. I’m not sure on this one, we really need better QB play and run blocking vs what we had going on early with auburn.

I think this season has showed why calzada was the backup to begin the year. He’s gutsy, can make a throw or two sometimes, but outside of the Bama game hasn’t had a 200 yard game yet, and is a 50-55% passer that doesn’t have much touch on throws. I don’t mean to trash the guy as he’s got guts to play through some injuries and he’s the best we’ve got, but I’m still worried that we are gonna be in a game that comes down to needing the qb to win it for us and he won’t be able to guide us to victory. Hope I’m wrong but just what I’ve seen.

I think there’s no way Ole Miss can slow down our run game like Auburn did. And you have to take in account That the refs were letting Auburn get away with passenger Ference against Jalen over and over again. Several big plays That killed drives Ended with the stupid TV announcers saying Jaylin dropped the ball when there was a guy giving him a bear hug when the ball got to him. I am going to say this, Jimbo made some quality adjustments once it was clear the refs we’re not gonna let Jaylin use his muscleAnd size and we needed to get breakaway speed instead. I’m really loving this team because it’s capable of winning in different ways

Went to some tailgates with my niece and had a blast before. I love going to Aggie games. I just want to change the Kanye intro lol

The block T is the best thing. It’s just fun. I go in and let everyone know I’m married into this family but bleed purple and gold and they just get it. I’m rocking a Aggie visior with a Aggie Peter Milar fleece and maroon driving shoes. I go all in
